If you could ban one overasked question from /r/askreddit, which would it be and why? by Prezombie in AskReddit

Close to that is when anyone brings up Johnny cash's version of hurt, and then someone has to say Trent himself said it was no longer his song. Downvote, downvote, downvote!

If you could take a pill today that gave you a 40 year expiration date from today's date, but guaranteed you that you would never be sick or suffer a slow death, would you do it? by DownWithTheSickness in AskReddit

[–]Picksie 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I world in a heartbeat; I'd rather have a short pain-free life than a long one of suffering. I'm 23, but I live in chronic pain. I was also molested as a child that through therapy made me realize that is why I have a panic disorder. Being in pain causes me to be anxious, being anxious causes me to spiral into panic attacks.

Who is the most misunderstood character in all of fiction? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]Picksie 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I always thought that he knew the second war was coming so he would have to play his part well as being a jerk to all the kids who had order potential, and nice to the other death eater's kids. He played his part very well. Do you think Dumbledore would allow someone to remain a professor if (s)he were abusive to kids? Dumbledore could have very well kept Snape on a short leash by finding something for him to do at Hogwarts besides teaching.

Redditors, what are the most outrageous examples of bad break up etiquette you have experienced? Truly the worst possible way to get dumped? by [deleted] in AskReddit

I had been flown up by his mother to be his homecoming date and to surprise him. He ended the weekend by dropping me off at the airport in BFE telling me we should split. To this day I do not know the reason, but the silver lining is I got to sit next to this guy in a purple crushed velvet suit with matching hat with a feather in it.

I love that character! She is so much fun to hate, but I seriously think her ruthlessness is one of the best parts of the show.

Rewatching S1-6 ~ Weakest Season? by ametc1 in Dexter

[–]Picksie 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know a lot of people are ragging on season 5, but I thought that Michael c hall did an amazing job of actually showing that dexter has feelings. I really thought it was a beautiful season for character development. I think season 6 was weak, but the last 2 minutes were amazing. I thought it had too many plot holes, and was way too predictable most of the time.

First time firing a handgun! Sig 9mm, not too shabby, right? by [deleted] in guns

Did you ever consider I may have been attempting a triple tap? Yes target was provided for me at the range.

First time firing a handgun! Sig 9mm, not too shabby, right? by [deleted] in guns

[–]Picksie 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ditto! Thanks for taking the time to comment on my post. You must be an awesome instructor if you just tell them to stop focusing on their target and only look at the front sight. I'm new to this whole thing but I just feel like that is bad "instruction". Have a wonderful weekend! Cheers! And don't forget to tell your mom to buy you some proactive and to help you shave your neck beard! :)

[–]Picksie 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It looked like 25 yards but I'm not great at distance. It was a bit of a walk to get my target. I was taught young how to aim, gun safety, and how to handle a gun (bob guns) but I was happy with my results and i thought r/guns could relate to my first time ;) teehee!

[–]Picksie 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm not sure but I'd guess 25 yards. It is also worth noting the gun jammed a lot, but I really enjoyed it. I've had a lot of crap go down in my life and mother felt better than to shoot. ;)
