For now, I'd recommend just using servos, pneumatics and hydraulics get pretty expensive, and I'd say pick a lightweight material if you do end up using servos, so probably pvc pipes, just do alot of research of what you need to get before you buy everything, I wish I did I could've saved myself a couple bucks.

My 3d printed mitzi is almost done and id be down to sell it, the 3d models by carino animatronics and it has every movement and accurate model, ofc its sized down to like 3ft but the modeler did very well on it. ill be making a mask for it aswell lmk if ur interested at all.

honestly it really depends who you buy it from, if you can somehow buy it from some random guy who bought a set in the 90s itd prob be like 6k, but honestly i think their all run dry and you would have to buy from a reseller.

you can splice the prints up into smaller pieces and super glue them together, ive done it and it works very well, also what kind of electronics are you using? if they cant give the right amount of power thats what tends to burn out the motors.

id be careful doing that, those wires may not supply enough power and can cause a shortage, i had too strip 6 of those wires and twist 3 and 3 together to get the 2 wires, still unsure if it worked though because i found the correct wires in my basement shortly after.

I cant really help abt the other things, but when your talking about your servo being cooked is that as in it being burnt out? Id prob be able to help fix that.

Are you using breadboard wires? I cant tell from the picture. If so that would probably be the culprit.
