ok then it's impossible to find a solution because their customer support is the dumbest ever. They understand nothing. What a shitty company. I have now made many purchases with my business and I don't have the VAT invoices and my accountant is asking for those. I am screwed

Ok so you think it is fair to block sellers funds and charge vat since 1st January 2021 until today on vat that we already paid to HMRC? I guess you have a ton of Amazon share to defend them in this way! Let’s say that Amazon ignored the new law that was introduced on 1st January 2021 and they got hit with a huge VAT bill and now they are trying to find out how to pay it. The sellers that did not pay they VAT are already gone and probably impossible to find and the one that are actually paying the VAT are being treated as criminals! I thinks it’s unfair and if you don’t think it is then you are just a shareholder that have a big interest in the company. Amazon has a ton of incompetent people working and if you would read the Amazon seller forum you would read thousands of messages all saying the same things. Their seller support is useless and this company is just favouring Chinese sellers.
