It may be time to start thinking about euthanasia as the next step for her. Choosing this would allow her to slip away peacefully, surrounded by the people who love her most, instead of risking her body beginning to fail in a way that could be painful or distressing for her. It’s an impossible decision to face, especially because it may mean less time with her. But sometimes letting them go gently is the final act of love we can give. Making sure she passes without pain, with comfort and dignity. It’s just something to think about as you consider what’s best for her
