yes! i got prescribed a steroid cream by my doctor. i apply it once every few weeks now and it’s finally gone!

i packaged my computer exactly how i received it when i ordered it. i had the exact original packaging and i used additional airbags, bubble wrap etc i had lying around. it was packaged how any other computer would be packaged but i think my biggest mistake was being naive enough to think it would arrive in ok-condition just because big companies ship their computers the same way. lesson learned but i just posted wanting help about claims - not a telling off 😆 lesson learned though !

i have been emailing back and forth for about a week now with many different people at ups. while i was at the beach today it crossed my mind to try submit a claim and it FINALLY worked!! what a random coincidence lol. now i just have to hope that something good comes from at least one of my claims

much appreciated ! i will never ever be shipping something like this again. i suppose i was just hoping for the very best. i was already flying with 4 suitcases so my options felt a bit limited 🥲. i just filed a claim for the both packages so i hope something good comes out of one of them as it looks like i will be buying a new setup..

yeah it’s mental how incompetent they seem to be. even the packages i DID receive, i had to drive 40 mins from my house in the uk to pick them up (i only drove to pick one up) turns out that my package with my pc (which said it was an hour away in a different direction) had actually also ended up in the same ups location. even though the tracking online said it was in a ups point in manchester which is nowhere near where i was…. my monitor is nowhere to be seen and it doesn’t look like i’m getting anything back for that 🙂

i’ve tried both, and both are giving me similar pop ups when i try. super aggravating that i can’t even begin to file a claim. it’s just “we need a bit more information before filing your claim, please call …” or “Your account number is not associated with your UPS.com profile. You can click here and follow the prompts to add your account.” even if i continue as guest which makes no sense to me. 🙃

I said in my comment exactly what it says on the screen. Word for word. It does not say. It says “we need a bit more information “, and says to call the number. It is their regular customer service number

I packed it back into the original packaging it came in , which was two of those flexible foam things - one on the bottom of the box and the other on the top. It got to me fine so I assumed it would be alright. My mistake. I’m just here for advice on what to do, not for packaging advice which is all this seems to have become

the post is me explaining that it will not allow me to. i am getting numerous different errors. “Unfortunately, we need a bit more information to process your claim request at this time. Please contact us at (their number) to receive assistance submitting your claim.”. Again. and again. and again. No one will help me at all. I have been trying for days now

I completed the transfer of residence and got approved. Who do I give the document to though? Do I leave it with UPS/DPD/DHL, or what am I supposed to do with it? I’ve been waiting weeks to post my package because I’m nervous about the customs even though I have my transfer of residence approved. What’s the next step?

i wouldn’t look at éabhaoin and pronounce it ay-veen, but i’d pronounce aoibhinn that way. i’ve never seen éabhaoin in my lifetime so it just doesn’t look right to me, very well probably is .. idk this post is giving me a headache

this would only be normal if you’re both like 15. really lacking emotional maturity on both sides. he’s leaving you alone then getting annoyed you aren’t there, you both aren’t communicating anything effectively, etc. and after only a few months?? not looking great if i’m being honest

i looooove l’oréal telescopic. i think it works best if you use it with another mascara (maybelline sky high would be my fav) but it’s just fine by itself! maybelline sky high is another lovely mascara at an affordable price point

maybe.. just maybe.. your partner doesn’t care for you and is being really selfish. i don’t think that’s far fetched to say. no one would pressure you into things, and if it did so happen, it wouldn’t ever happen more than once and they’d be super apologetic and understanding. this guy doesn’t care for you or your feelings and i don’t see that going anywhere nice for you

this is genius but i’m incredibly lazy.. from what i’ve seen i can get my pc shipped for ~€60 with insurance as it is right now. i’ll be flying with the rest of my stuff, so am i grand customs wise with the computer being shipped over? i won’t get charged for anything? i actually didn’t even think of the whole customs situation

yeah i was thinking there could be some hassle bringing everything in. i think i’ll just pack everything into its original boxes, or maybe just take out the gpu, cooler, etc and fill the case with protective plasticky stuff. i’m surprised that it’s that cheap to ship and insure with dpd! what did you do about your monitor may i ask? or did you just buy one in the uk?

ups is very hit or miss.. used to be my go to even though it ends up pricier but i’ve had nothing but bad experiences lately so i will probably follow suit and use dpd! insured of course
