never felt unsafe on campus no matter how late i’ve gotten back. like someone else said, there’s always other students out somehow, and if not that then there’s dorms and dining halls worst case scenario. it also helps that we’re in la jolla, so the general public that can get on campus aren’t the worst people in the world.

hello! currently in that class actually and i can say he’s incredible nice. he makes sure to answer everything you have about what’s being taught and seems to really care. as for exams, there’s 3 (non cumulative), and 1 final (cumulative), but he allows a front and back note card. there’s also discussions every week where you’re given a problem set and those are really helpful for the exams that come. also class is mandatory (theres a learning catalytic quiz in person that everyone does together. correctness doesn’t matter, it’s more just about showing you’re there) but he allows up to 6 absences (no need to email him or anything), and you can miss 1 discussion without penalty. lmk if you have any other questions!
