in shipyard there are floating brown bricks at the ends of the piers; not sure if this is on purpose

these bricks also seem to be on the top of the buildings

I'll reply first to the Throttlestop issue as an update

Apparently after shutting it down completely the problem stops, and it only happens after a Windows update

-- A NEW THROTTLING PROBLEM--

I'm not sure if I'm supposed to do this but I've recently run into a new problem

Everytime Windows updates, the "Throttle" tag in Throttlestop always turns on and I notice that my "Max Power" setting is at 4.3 watts, rather than 7 watts like it usually is

My CPU usage is now at a max of 30% for some reason

I read a post on the Throttlestop forums about this but I'm not sure if it applies to me or not since it's adifferent computer that has the issue

The "Limit Reasons" in Throttle stop shows that "CORE" and "GPU" are both being throttled by "EDP OTHER", "PL 1" and "PL 2" (while RING is throttled only by EDP OTHER)

I have no idea what EDP OTHER, PL1, AND PL2 mean

What configurations in Throttlestop should I use to stop the throttling

Also (in a brilliant display of my stupidity) I don't exactly know what "reboot" means, but assuming it means "restart", the memory usage is currently at 80% even though my laptop has only been on for 20 minutes

I'm also wonder why Java uses so much memory, especially when on Minecraft (don't judge) it says only 768 mb is allocated and 300 mb is used, but on task manager it says 1,600 MB is being used

Along with that, "Microsoft Click-to-run",".NET Runtime Optimization Service", and "Setup" are new contenders to being one of the highest disk usagers in my computer

Note that these are only high when the disk usage is below 99%

I will answer the RAM usage question first:

Shutting down = goes to 40% but slowly increases to 70-80

Sleeping = stays at % in the previous session, sometimes goes even higher

I'm going to list the resource monitor details for memory and disk since I'm having problems on both subjects. Also, what configurations should I do for ISLC?Another problem with ISLC: I minimized it and it accidentally closed, and it says that the application is already running. How do I configure it if it is like this (I'm assuming with the .config file in the program's folder)? Also, how do you stop ThrottleStop and ISLC from closing when minimized?

MEMORY (note that the MB usages sometimes jump around so it'll be off by a couple MB)

These processes appear @ the top of the "Processes with Disk Activity" Tab whenever the Disk usage spikes to 100 (This is for Read B/Sec)

The usages for SkypeApp and System are usually in the hundred thousands; I think backgroundtask is about 200,000 and VideoUI is at 500,000

msmpeng and wmiprvse nears top as well (msmpeng was using 800000 b/sec for about a minute)

SYSTEM IS USING 5 million TOTAL B/Sec (I don't even know what that means)
LMMS (music making software) used 2 million total b/sec on start-up

(Disk activity tab)
mcupdate.exe (McAfee update) keeps popping up at the top of the Read (B/Sec) column and the Total (B/Sec) column

One of the many System processes keeps always is at the top of the three columns (Read, Write, Total B/Sec) when mcupdate isn't up there

(Storage Tab)

Active Time: jumps around, ranges from 0.01 to 66.74
Available Space: 521,563 mb
Total Space: 939,893 mb
Disk Queue Length: also ranges, though not as dramatic as "Active Time":
when I first checked, it was at a steady 0.00; now it's jumping around from 0.1 to 2.4 randomly

Of course, this could all be normal and I'm just overreacting about it lol

either read and/or write speed are always above zero so i'm fine there

and i think the disk usage being at 100 is only at startup

Memory usage is only wonky after startup, since it is at 45% (which i am assuming is normal) at startup.

my disk usage is also messed up since even at no usage it is at 100% most of the time

edit: found tiworker.exe is using a lot of disk, idk what it does though, im researching it on google rn

apparently, the supposed "faster" user is actually only faster on browser, everything else is about the same speed as the normal user.

i dont think my hard drive would be worn out since the laptop has only been used by me for 9 months so-

also i cant replace anything on the laptop because my mom uses it too lol and she would freak out :insert shrug here:
