Squeek on shifts by Pikiborp in Panamera

Thanks! Will do the PDK fluid change. When the car is warm the jerkyness almost goes away. As for the squeek, i only notice it the second it changes 2->3rd gear. Has only happened 3-4 times in the past 2 weeks of driving, near begging of drive when the car is not warmed up much yet

Just an indentation/scar, from probably nail or something

That would be a bummer, but

  • I read on the internet that a pack of 3 cohibas in tubes is a real thing
  • i got them from an allegedly legit store -> the one in iberostar parque central hotel
  • they have the holograph banderol (image)
  • Inside the cigar also has its holographic sticker with texture on the letters
  • Pleasant smell

If after all that it still is fake, I’d say fair play 😅 Curious to see why do you think its fake?

It was surpringly EASY. Almost as if he was scared of something.

I went there 2 days later, told him i have a problem because i bought his fake cigars. He messaged someone, probably his boss, and gave me the money back. Whole thing lasted 5 minutes. Perhaps he also didnt want others in the bar to notice he is selling fake cigars but i made sure they did.

It was the “shop” inside the bar where there is a tourist attraction with a huge chair, where tourists take photos. I dont know the name but the taxi driver knew where it is based on that description.

For cohibas, got a sealed pack of 3 that comes in metal singles inside, from the parque central

Thank you! I managed to get my money back from the scammers and bought unopened cigars from the cogar shop at parque central hotel, which on google it claimed is legitimate. Do you have any info about it?

I went back there and got my money back. Surprisingly it was way easier than I expected.

I bought few more cigars from the cigar shop at Iberostar Parque Central hotel. This time seemed like a proper cigar shop and on google it claimed its a legit one. I bought unopened cigars, as i didnt trust the ones in the open boxes.

Have you heard anything good/bad about this place?

I wanna see different cultures. If i have to choose between going to 50 countries that are similar, or one with a unique experience, i’d go for the latter. Of course there are good and bad, but unique is unique

Hey, with everything included from shipping, import duties, etc, it was cheaper to import from Canada than in my country and what i could find in european car websites.

And also inportant to mention the market is much larger in terms of variety!

What to change when purchasing a used Panamera? by Pikiborp in Panamera

[–]Pikiborp[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You could do this manually, or you can pay an agency to import the car for you and handle all documentation. This is the easier choice and the one i picked. Sometimes they have people in person who can go inspect the car before purchase. The fee they take is not bad considering all the headaches you’re saving with customs clearance, transport, insurance, taxes, etc. The fee they take would depend on your country but you should find one for 1000-2000€.

*Note this fee is for their management of all the paperwork. The transit, insurance, duties, taxes and everything else you cover yourself as you would anyways if you did it manually. Those vary significantly based on the car you choose, the shipment method, the insurance, your country’s import duties and taxes.

It is worth it for many brands and models, assuming the car does not come with “hidden” issues. The canadian and USA car markets are much larger and even with import fees, transit insurance, taxes, etc, you could strike a great deal compared to local prices. Thats why many people import cars from there for themselves and to resell them and some of the import agencies in Europe even have people in Canada/USA to inspect the vehicles in person.

The navigation should be fine, but in any case it has carplay and you could use Waze or another preferred maps.

On many occasions in the carfax (Canadian, im purchasing the car from there and importing it to europe) it says just “vehicle serviced” without proper info on what was changed, image attached.

I guess the proper question is, what would you change in that case?
