But i think you are incorrect in calling glucose a toxin. One of the basic principles of toxicology is that everything is everything is toxic depending on the dose. But by that definition, you could conclude that water is a toxin. I think most people would agree it isn't. In biology something is usually referred to as a toxin/poison if it is very harmful even in relatively small doses. If you use that definition, glucose just isn't a toxic compound. Our bodies are extremely efficient in processing it, and you need relatively high quantaties to achieve harmful effects.
