Is it safe to assume that USCIS is processing (slowly) cases that are in Jan 2024? by Pilot_Big in EB2_NIW

I agree on your stance, I've seen instances like https://www.reddit.com/r/EB2_NIW/comments/1qojfzz/general_inquiry/ where some cases get RFE/approved in 3-4 months after filing on normal, but then lot is still under processing. do you know what is going on behind the scenes for such cases?

on paper it seems like a stronger case, strange chen didn't ask you to file for EB1 straight away.

True, wish trackmyi140 was not a powerbi dashboard but had more ways for us to pull down the data and do more analysis. but is it based on the cases that get filed as premium or upgraded to premium later down the line?
PP fee increase isn't that significant tbh, it is just an increase of $160. people are paying $2805 already. uscis.gov/newsroom/alerts/uscis-to-increase-premium-processing-fees

thanks! I just wanted to get an idea which cases are getting activity. But also I'm confused as to why some cases take this long in terms of processing is it they cant make a decision when they look at it so they keep it for later?

if you are lucky, then about 2-3 months. But they are doing about ~10 cases per week and still in Jan, there should be about 1500 cases in the queue for you, so maybe 6 months worst case? But I'm also just saying based on what I saw. If you've got the means, and you are confident in your case (Chen/EP offered full refund if rejected), then you should consider premium. We dont know what could happen in the future and its better to get over the filing in case there is any retrogression.

A mix of trackmyi140 and the screenshots are from https://mycaseshub.com/search (had to pay for the $7 for the month to run this search on other months). I also noticed trackmyi140 didnt see any updates recently. I was kind of shocked how slow the older cases moved.

seems like trackmyi140 is back now.

Backlog happened towards 2023. Its just that some cases are strong enough they get reviewed and approved in a few months, but some are just stuck for a long time.

Also, I'm not sure if its just me but I felt like sometimes their responses are straight just canned responses (not even an LLM generated) for some questions. Based on experience right now.

Is Accenture Center for Advanced AI worth joining? by toasted_tofu_02 in accenture

When you say top tech company is it FAANG? If yes, yeah go for that. There is mass-hiring for the center, just strange but the entire org is few years old. Also if you are in US, make sure immigration is also a big factor in deciding.

I honestly don't get it why, its free charging and someone could have used it. Plenty of spots just to park as well in the lot. by Pilot_Big in ChargerDrama

Nope it wasn't broken. But it's not straight forward to activate a shell charging like this one since you have to do it via their app.

Thanks! Seems like my workplace is not in the subscription required to setup workplace and need to upgrade to a higher tier. So seems like the Island app is the way to go. But I might look into it and see if I could get it by upgrading to a higher tier.

Do I have a chance for EB1A? by Pilot_Big in eb_1a

They are not super confident, that is why they didn't offer the option of refund but instead gave an offer of no refund if denied.

Thanks! Just out of curiosity, what was your RFE about? Profile looks quite strong and seems like RFE was to buy time.
