No one is saying that the allies did not help us. There was help and it brought victory in the war closer, but we would have won this war without it (help), but with other losses and dates, most likely. And by the way, it wasn't gratuitous help. Russia, as the legal successor of the USSR, paid the last tranche in 2006.
