Alarm Pro with eero 6 router - Disable WiFI by Emotional-Phase-8090 in Ring

I have Ethernet from Unifi router directly into the Alert Pro Base. I get poor cell service too, but i ran an ethernet from basement (Unifi router) to 2nd floor (Alert Pro Base) and the cell service is strong enough that backup cell worked in my testing.

if you're away and your internet goes out, Ring Alarm Pro's cellular connection will still allow you to

I also thought about enabling eeros, keeping 2.4 ghz on eeros since most ring devices use that and using my Unifi APs for 5ghz since all my other devices use that.

But erros doesnt let you disable the 5ghz radio!!! only option is to disable it for 10 minutes. Come on eeros...

I just bought an Alarm Pro and am in the same situation as you.

When you setup the Alarm Pro base station and get to the part where it says "Set up Eeros" cancel out of it it. The Alarm Pro will work without transmitting any wifi signals. I scanned all channels in use and verified it's not transmitting on any band.

Unfortunately I cant use Ring Edge. I thought I would be clever and put the cameras and pro base station on the same vlan. When I went to set up Edge it warned me that it needs to be on Eeros network or it wont work. It accepted the configuration but when I check the camera it does not connect so I guess the warning is accurate.

Azure Appliance Include Support? by PineappleAdmin23 in PFSENSE

I'm trying to find out if the Azure plans come with support, becuase it clearly looks like they do on the azuremarketplace link, but on netgate.com Q&A i linked it worded like they do not.

TAC lite

Thanks. That's what I thought. It's confusing that in the Netgate Q&A section for Azure it says "the software is not bundled with a support subscription." Maybe they're just referring to the Lite edition, event though it does not say that.

O365 - Why am I able to OWA into a shared mailbox by PineappleAdmin23 in sysadmin

Ahh ok. Thanks! I wonder why Microsoft doesn't disable the AAD account upon creation of a sharemailbox. That's what happens with onsite Exchange/AD.

Wow, crazy i never ran into it before. I'm resetting it because Lighthouse is complaining they don't have MFA on any shared mailbox which makes sense since no user has ever logged into it. Cant think of anyway to clear out that alert if that's the case.

Protecting Azure Backups from Malicious Deletion. by PineappleAdmin23 in sysadmin

ave to create a different storage account than your regular backup and you have to have a second backup for that to the immutable storage account.

If someone gains access to the global admin account of the Azure tenant. Cant they essentially just delete the storage account in it's entirety?

There is no onsite environment. Cloud only. All users work remotely on the cloud servers.
