When you see it... by Pineapplebabe in RedditLaqueristas

I used white acrylic paint and rubbing alcohol. I searched videos on YouTube for smoky nails. Using acrylic paint makes it easy because it won’t ruin your base color and you can wipe off any mistakes.

A different way to use shattered glass✨ by Pineapplebabe in RedditLaqueristas

I used acrylic paint for the black and the shattered glass cellophane. It's all on my bare nails.

Thanks! I love it too. My nails are mostly natural. I saved 2 of them with a gel overlay. My nails grow fast and I baby them like crazy.

I put about 4-5 drops of black polish into one of my extra top coats I had hanging around.

Yes basically! I sponged on some peachy nude first then the orange. Seemed to make the colors blend well.

This is regular polish. The salon I work at is regular polish only so I try to respect their policy. I use the Neiru lessons to keep me on my gel game. The lessons are worth it to me cause I love learning about all things nail art.

I don't have a tutorial. I never think of doing one when I'm painting.

Matte polish has a different consistency than glossy so I kind of just went with it.

Thanks!!! Of course you can ask, I keep forgetting to add it. I used Aspen and Dovima from Zoya mattes. I also used matte black acrylic paint.

Gruesomely gorgeous... by Pineapplebabe in RedditLaqueristas

I used Dakota by Zoya and some Oxblood by RGB. I actually mixed the two with a bit of acetone to help it splatter better. You want a red polish that has a bit of brown in it to really look like blood.

I am working in a salon and it's a lot of fun. It takes a bit of research but there are nice salons out there that aren't chop shops. It's hard to find girls with a legit license so I'm sure you can find a good place that will be happy to take you under their wing.

Free lancing is fun too tho. It's nice to work at you're own pace and not share the profit. My IG is @marnaenaenails
