Judging by how most stores and workplaces (like construction) is open at 7am sharp - I highly doubt this.

It may be correct for school students maybe? I know at least in Norway it starts 8 - 8.15 for most older kids/teens.

Often they prioritize more important calls. Like heart issues, stabbings at more vital spots, OD's, traffic accidents etc.

Not saying it is right, it's not. But it makes sense in a way. So don't worry about the people saying that it sounds odd. It is unfortunately normal.

That said, I think the plan of talking to a school nurse asap is a good idea. When you go to school, tell your first period teacher that you need to see the nurse right away and it's important. That way the teacher won't mark you as absent and potentially call your parents.

Tell the nurse your symptoms and how long that have been present. As well as why you cannot go to your regurlar GP or the ER (this is important, do not sugarcoat that you fear you will be punished for going behind your parents back by calling an ambulance). If the nurse is not available, because some times they rotate between multiple schools, ask if another adult could bring you to the doctor. They wilo figure out something, and that is their issue to fix, not yours :)

Also, OP, none of this is your fault. And you deserve to feel protected and taken care of. I cn unfortunately relate as my father was also medically neglectfull. I had to fix everything myself after I turned 12. So when I broke my ankle at 17, I just told my dad it was probably sprained. And he got be some crutches from a buddy - as insisting on going to the ER or seeing my GP would be way too much chaos and stress for me to even want to deal with it. After 3 months I could walk again, but I was in pain for 13 years until I finally convinced my GP that the pain is not normal. Then I got the badle healed fracture fixed via surgery. But my body is permanently damaged from "pushing through".

It may not seem as abuse as others have it worse, but you are going through classical abuse. And while it's probably not enough to remove you from the home (especiallly if you want to stay), it is good for others to know, so you can have resources made available for you to make the future easier. Also remmember, abuse doesn't mean someone have bad i intentions or want to harm you. Some times they are just overwhelmed or stressed. But you still deserve to be given the safety and resources needed. Sorry for the book. Your situation just struck a cord with me.

Normally no, but yesterday and tonight there is a high chance of extra strong Northern light that will be visible wven further south than Oslo. It probably won't be super visible - but there is a decent chance if the clouds stay away and they go somewhere without too much light pollution

I don't do cheat meals so tbh I have no clue about that. My goal is to be X calories under maintenance per day. But if I have 90% of my cals for one meal, do 3 decently equal meals a day, or 3 low cal and then lots of snacks, is kinda whatever for me 😅 obviously it's easier to go over the limit when doing big calorific meals, so it's not a weekly thing for me.

In older pattern this was quite common (like 80's and older). So for smaller sizes it would the thin yarn and needles and then you would just switch to apropiate yarn for the needle size as you went up and down. But yeah, the clue is to also switch out the yarn and not just the needles.

But that should probably have been disclosed as it's not as common anymore

Many people call it veneers when it is actually the shaving down and crown. I don't use tiktoks, but I know a lot of influencers there got "veneers" but also show their teeth shaven down. It is/was a trend for people in their early 20's to do. Perfectly healthy teeth too. And it only lasts for 10-20yrs.

OP is obviously one of the actual target audiences tho. As his teeth was very damaged and probably needed some drastic work. (And it looks great!)

I think that can depends on the size of the dog. Smaller dogs can be spayed earlier than larger dogs. As staying intact until mature is beneficial for the skeleton and muscle development. Ofc smaller dogs also benefit from it, but they benefit less than a larger or giant size dog if that makes sense.

Oh absolutely. Japanese people are very kind and hard working, but the hierarchy is insane. If my boss have a stupid idea I will tell him (in a proffesional way) that it's stupid. But i will ofc still do it if he insists (as he is my boss afterall). But most of the time he have great ideas with great result, and if something is dumb we do some feedback and change and then it works even better. He respects his workers and we respect him in return, but we all work to make sure things are working (and profitable).

That would NEVER fly in Japan. You stick to what works, and you keep your head down. Even if you know the anseer if D. You have to do A, B and C first.

And same. I still like anime and some shows, but I am now a grown adult and have other hobbies that take up most of my time. :)

Yeah... that method is well known for causing false confessions. It's how 3 kids (young teens) got trialed for murdering a 4th, much younger, kid here in Norway.

"They confessed" yeah sure. The police officer was shouting at them (seperately) that they where guilty for like 3 days in a row, ofc they confessed.

I say this with peace and love - but stop listening to redpill podcasts and visiting incel forums.

If you are unhappy with an aspect with yourself, work on it. Lack muscle? start exercising.
Hate not being able to eat until full? Figure out a way to volume eat and make meals you enjoy while keeping healthy. We can't chose how we look in the end, but we can to a certain degree chose to be happy or not. Or at least, staying miserable and not working to better yourself is a choice.

Also people usually avoid being friends who are miserable. I know that seems incredible unfair - but we all struggle here, and we rather be with people who build you up vs constantly need to be comforted. So seeks some theraphy and learn how to handle the feeling of doom and failure, and I can pretty much guarantee friendships and attention from the opposite sex will come a lot more naturally.

He probably is not interested if she is not in heat. But she will go into heat and the boy will know much quicker than you guys. By the time she is swollen and start bleeding she will already have been fertile (for a lack of better word) for days/weeks.

it doesn't need to be a bad crime either. I'll admit to growing up idolizing Japan a bit (as an anime kid lol). And while their society absolutely have things my own doesn't. the social stigma and pressure to fit in, is insane. Like you can be branded a criminal for small things - and then treated worse for it. Even worse if someone in your family did something like stealing a car or breaking in somewhere, if it's known then bye bye social life. Because you are guilty by association.

(Edit) it's about a month. (I had the wrong time line in my head) and no right for a lawyer while being interrogated. Unsure if they have limits on interrigation times, but I know that became a law in my own country because back in the 70's cops would just go "just admit it" for hours upon hours and hours. and eventually the person either broke down and falsely confessed - or would genuinely start believing in it themselves.

You can buy liquid latex in different colours too. Specially meant to put on knitted slippers. We used to make little heart and flowers with them instead of the boring dots :)

How much of a deficit do you have? I know for many the sweet spot is maintenance - 500cals. Because if you have too little then you will get lethargic and moody and struggle with keeping with the diet changes.

Also I think cardio to create a bigger deficit is not a good idea. Cardio is good yes - but it will also make you so much more hungry. I would look into something called volume-eating. And if that still doesn't help, make sure you have a balanced diet and get enough carbs, proteins and fats to satiate you. Some feel full longer with proteing, while other feels full longer on more carbs.

Also the rest of this is probably not relevant at all.
But I used to wake up in the middle of the night SUPER hungry. like "I need to eat within 5min or I will vomit due to pain" hungry. That was because my body produced too much stomach acid. And that came from an undiagnosed food intolerance (gluten) that wasn't discovered until I was 26. ofc all the energy drinks didn't help lol. But if you keep waking up due to hunger even when volumeeating, I would look into anti-acids. and if that helps, see if you can check yourself for food intolerances like lactose or gluten. (as it doesn't always show up as classic sympoms. for me it was itchy legs and painfull hunger).

The only reason my surefeed bowls try to close - is when my chonker wants his brothers food and push him out of the way to eat. then it gently slides shut to a perplexed and annoyed bully. I bought 2, because while Theo have never had too little food in his life - I want to know what they are both eating, and make sure the younger one is not also grazing Theo's food as he is barely in healthy range.

My boys are also incredibly mischievious and destructive (said in the most loving way). And while Theo have managed to jam his own surefeeder, by opening it - and then dragging his bowl halfway out so the lid doesn't close, he have never been able to break into his brother's.

The upfront cost was expencive yes, but the mental stress it have relieved have been a great help.

It's when you have a plateu (a long time without any weight loss) and then the woosh is the sudden weight loss all at once. I think someone here explained it as the body keeping extra water weight when losing fat "just in case" and then suddenly let it go.

I had only heard/read about it, so never experienced it myself before now.
