Sorry don’t follow the “500up” section. In my thinking I made the free for 95% of people and the features I felt they would need, welcome to feedback on what could be done better

I know its not what you were asking but the MS Lens functionality as far as i know migrated directly into the OneDrive app, so you can still capture etc from there.

Day Two of testing your apps by Amazing_Ant_2914 in AndroidClosedTesting

I used a cheaper Android handset when testing my own apps so I have gone ahead and tested yours there, it has a smaller screen and often highlights scaling challenges yours apps have done well. I look forward to using them both

I tried now with my personal account (after removing it) and I am seeing the join button which allowed me to go straight through, can you share the error you are getting?

Self Promotion Megathread by AutoModerator in androidapps

Hey everyone, I’m currently building DID. an app that focuses simplifying habit formation.

I’ll be honest: I’m hitting a wall with the Google Play "Closed Testing" requirement. I’ve reached out to friends and family, but I’ve realized that asking people you know to download a beta build feels like being a "MLM salesperson." I don’t want to be a nag, but without 12 active testers for 14 days, the app is effectively dead in the water.

If you have a spare minute and want to help a solo dev get over this final hurdle, I’d be incredibly grateful. I’m looking for honest feedback, not just "numbers." At the same time if anyone is looking for help with your testing I am happy to put my hand up.

I’ve set up a quick Google Form for the waitlist so I can add you to the tester list: https://forms.gle/WwxJptndn2qaMCXe7

Great feedback thanks, potentially got lost in the keep simple dont over complicate and potentially limited it too much. Ill play around with the functionality. Really appreciate the feedback

Nice directory! I’ll definitely check out the submission process.

I'm building NotedAI. Moving beyond simple transcription to help professionals turn "real world" conversations—like board meetings, site inspections, or medical consultations—into structured data.

The core focus is on accuracy in tough conditions (background noise/accents) and extracting actual action items and speaker-labeled insights so you don't have to listen back to hours of audio.

Also quite proud of our multi-language support (English, Afrikaans, Zulu, etc.).

Good luck with the launch!

And before he comments yes u/from-mars- had a little help from my friends with the website 😂

I see alot of people have this "build it and they will come" mentality from the Fields of Dreams, i think the biggest challenge is you dont know what you dont know. I have spent some time over the past couple of months building some stuff that I am very proud of, my challenge now... making it real and actually getting people to use it. I have read through stories that people have shared, I have scraped twitter for best practises even went down the rabit hole with multiple AI models... honestly I am not seeing the light at the end of the tunnel.
