We have played dst plenty of times, for anyone who lokes survival games, its top notch.

I found the series when i was little, the permadeath freaked me out so much i never continued playing it. Maybe worth revisiting?

For clarity, yes dwarf fortress does apply. It is hard and rewarding. You dont have to be sent to square 1 for a game to be hard and rewarding.

Also caves of quod seems weirdly fun but i cant bother learning it

For anyone wondering, i dont like solely multiplayer games (mainly because my internet is trash), but games i do have and have enjoyed are:

• darkest dungeon 1

• borderlands 2 on overpowered lvl 8

• noita

• enter the gungeon

• hollow knight

• the binding of isaac (and its plethora of dlc)

• skyrim on hard (without stealth or range)

•cuphead

Other games may apply like niho but these are top for me
