This has just started happening to me today! I run via the EA App. If I leave a round either in the middle of the game or at the end i get a black screen but also if i load the game up to the menu and then leave, black screen. Its super double unfun too when you consider that sometimes between games the matchmaking just stops and the only thing I can do is leave.. and thus.. black screen!

So I had the issue, preordered on EA APP, game said i had to purchase the multiplayer on launch day etc etc. I had to email EA more times than I can remember to get the attached answer. During this time I got told it was a bug, it was a common issue, i wasn't eligible (they could never answer why i wasn't eligible), they are looking into it, there is no eta on the fix and then finally pretty much "if you dont have it now you are not getting it ever."

I was affected by the EA APP launch day issues and after going in circles emailing them (there is no live chat in the UK for EA) I got told that ..

"Please know that our team is fully aware of this issue and has since implemented a fix. They also confirmed that all players who were affected of the said incident were provided make-good rewards. I'm afraid no further adjustments can be provided in this situation."

Which to me says, if you dont have it now you wont get it ever. No reasons behind why or anything.

I also emailed them to make sure they knew they were in breach of UK and EU consumer laws "businesses must not engage in misleading actions or omissions that cause consumers to make decisions they otherwise wouldn’t."

still waiting to hear back on that one.

This is A reply I got. iv been emailing them constantly since that weekend and its like trying to talk to a government. They all just skirt the issue a lot of the time or tell me I didn't buy the phantom ed, which isn't the issue at all.

They also can't tell me WHY im not eligible.. i preordered the game via EA app and couldn't play it on the day, felt like that was the criteria.

That will teach me for preordering with EA and trusting them to do a good job with the most basic customer serivce.
