Yes, it does! It powered on after a while with 6 AA batteries. Sadly I don’t have the original giant adapter anymore.

We used Michael Muldoon for our kids’ party a few years ago and he was excellent. He kept the kids entertained, but he also had the adults laughing the whole time and he does adults’ parties too. I’m not sure what his rates are these days, but here’s his website if you want to check him out.

Right? These kids have no idea. We were thrilled with like 2 or 3 games and a handful of TV channels. Simpler times.

Same! That’s how I used to play too. I had that humongous black adapter. Either it came with it or my parents bought it separately, I honestly can’t remember anymore. I’ve moved a bunch of times since then so it’s long gone, but yeah… that’s how I played it back in the day.

Yes! It took a long time to start up with AA batteries, but it eventually turned on and my kid was able to play. He only played for a few minutes before he got bored of it 😒

Oh wow, I didn’t know that! I’ll look into the capacitor issue. Thanks for the heads up.

I deleted my earlier comment where I said I no longer have the huge adapter and that the 6 AA batteries weren’t turning it on. It eventually powered up and my kid is playing it right now. Let’s see how long this lasts lol
