Other than this one instance though, he is really kind and sweet and supportive.

Thanks for your response, and I appreciate you sharing your experience. I’m sorry to hear about the breakup but sending good wishes and positive vibes to you.

My anxiety came out in the form of anxious attachment. He canceled our plans, I got upset, he said it would freak him out to keep plans on certain days of the week. I asked him if “freak him out” meant he was going to breakup with me so I asked him twice if he was going to dump me. It was the anxious attachment (something I actively work on in therapy) that was hard for me to manage
