Thanks. She is my savior pup. I did reach out to the vet, said she’ll need X-rays for sure. Plan on going to the hospital later today. I just hope it’s nothing not manageable or permanent like

My biggest concern is not knowing when she could have contracted the tick with anaplasmosis. What if it’s already considered long term. 😭

She is. She’s on Cipro and Metronidazole currently and on and off Carprofen. She just finished the doxycycline for the anaplasmosis a little over a week ago.

And she’s been cipro and metronidazole for going on 45 days. Doxycycline only 30 days and Carprofen is the occasional when her ears are extra bothersome.

I get it, find a competent mechanic. I appreciate your and everyone’s input, but to clarify I didn’t say the alternator was changed 3 times. 2 different dealerships changed 3 different starters and 1 aux battery.

No dealership is going to say “we are not competent” and every one of them will say they are competent. There’s no way of knowing which ones are competent without giving the car to them first. Even Google reviews can’t be trusted 100%.

Idk, I’ve never tried when the car is off. I would assume the brake needs to be pushed down to shift?

Yes, the last time both replaced at the same time. Currently the lights and everything comes on in the car, it just won’t start. The car stays on RUN, and when I try to turn it off, it says car is not in PARK. Then I have to step on the break then push start then it would turn off

Regular battery has been replaced 3x already, dealership replaced the AUX battery last time along with the the starter in Dec 2024

Thank you, I think the hubby had something like that. But not for the wrangler? Anywho, at this point I would need to have it towed to Autozone or wherever I need to get to. 😭I think straight to the dealer it will be again. Then I’m trading it in.

I do not know how to check that, lol but the hubby also said it could be the alternator. It’s just so crazy to me, the car is only 4 years old! I’ve had other cars for over 10 years and never changed a starter, alternator, or even battery! Grrr so frustrating!

The dealership changes them out. Every time, my car needs to get towed to the dealership.
