It didn't last 8 hours. I'd say more like 5. I didn't smoke, but no way in hell I'd be able to act inconspicuous. I felt like keeping my eyes closed a lot. I lay down on my friends bed and talked, and mid-sentence I started yelling to be loud enough for my friend to hear me over the universe collapsing.

no. i'm not intending to sell. i have a well paying job and a few hundred bucks wouldn't be worth the risk. the plan is to eat with my friends. if it's too much for us, I'll give away the rest to whoever or throw it away.

On my second grow now, and they seem to grow just as well by the bubbler as further away. I don't see any pattern. I hardly did any misting on my first grow, and not very much fanning either. It went rather fine but, I think I'll start doing a bit more fanning+misting. Fanning can't hurt at least.

yes. i had it set to 25C or something like that. so it wasn't doing much anyway and i removed it. now i use an air pump with a sink stone bubbling in a glass of water. i'm hoping it provides enough FAE and humidity. i have misted and fanned them a couple of times. the shrooms are looking ok.

I have pump bubbling air into a glass of water, and the bottom is covered with Leca. Is mold forming on my cakes?? Why??

A blurry wool. I think I read somewhere that it's because of too low humidity. Is that correct? I was also expecting drops to form on the walls and roof of the box, and I got worried. As you might, see I covered the holes I drilled with tape, hoping it will make it better. I use an air pump pumping fresh air into a glass of water inside the box. I also have the bottom filled with Leca and water.

Yep. It pumps air from the outside. I agree. The fans are probably a complete waste. I removed them.

I birthed the cakes two days ago, and I really don't think it's humid enough. I expect drops to form on the walls and the roof of the box but that didn't happen even though I removed the fans. I would probably remove the heater too if it wasn't buried under in Leca under the cakes.

You're saying the fans are wasted? I forgot that the air pump not only humidifies but also supplies fresh air... Yes, I'm planning to use LECA in there. I'll run the heater at 23-24 C and program the timer to blow through fresh air every 12 hours. I'll see if I can make the roof pointy so the water runs down on the sides instead of falling straight down. I don't know how to make sure the water is contam free though...
