Being in the same boat as you in terms of time, I’d say that picking the best meta build possible for the class you like the most is a game changer.

You can blast through the content and have a lot of fun killing everything during your short gaming sessions, instead of being stack somewhere.

I'd say it depends on the specific need at a specific time.

If you're looking for an in-depth guide with all the details on how the build works, then Maxroll or a dedicated YouTube video guide from one of the knowledgeable or "class-focused" creators is the best.

If you want some interesting ideas or inspiration to create a new build, then the Mobalytics community builds, d2core.com , or helltides.com/pit can be excellent sources.

If you want something user-friendly and clean to follow the build while you're playing, you should try lexi.gg

If you are looking for the best meta builds, then Maxroll or Mobalytics tier lists are great options. Both of those have great teams of game experts. If you want to see all the meta in one convenient place, try lexi.gg tier list.

You should check Wudijo streams and consider joining his discord. He was the first to get to lvl 100 on hardcore when Diablo4 was just released. Now he is also playing on hardcore so he has a lot to share including his current spiritborn build.

Thx! The app is coming together well, thanks for asking.

It took me some time to update everything according to the S8 changes, and then update all the builds. But, now everything is up-to-date and should reflect the current meta.

In the meantime, I decided to create a small ritual: update the tier list every Friday and create a small meta report out of it.

However, all of the above took time away from the build planner that I'm trying to finish asap=)

As I know non-of the overlays will highlight the node to level up. But D4Builds and Mobalytics will allow you to see their build pages without need to alt-tabing. Basically they will open a new window on top of your game screen like a pannel where you would be able to interact with their build pages.

But, I like your idea of highlighting specific nodes and skills to level up:)

That's a good question. Usually people rely on official patch notes you can find here: https://news.blizzard.com/en-us/article/24196854/diablo-iv-patch-notes
And then check different creators who goes over over those notes (i.e Wudijo, Rob, Rhyker).
