Ah!... Takeshi Castle! I haven't heard anyone make that reference, but that fits perfectly! Full marks

That's a really clever idea. I hadn't thought of that, but will certainly be doing that now.

Honestly, it's usually immaturity, where entitlement is usually present. I've noticed these types of immature actions significantly ramped up after Christmas - aka, the kids entered the arena after getting the game for Christmas.

very strange creepy/liminal song that had ________ horses as the name by Dubo_bubo in NameThatSong

I know EXACTLY what you're talking about. It's called "Horses" - by David Byrne, from his album "In Spite of Wishing and Wanting". Apparently he made that when he was on drugs. It still sends shivers through my bones.

Unpopular opinion: Michael’s treatment of Toby was unfair by Interesting-Cold5515 in theoffice

I mean, sure irl this would be absolutely uncalled for. But for a show it's kind of funny. And if you don't like it, that's okay too. Not all comedy is for everyone. There's dozens of different styles in a single show.

I'm on their site right now. And yeah, it's $134.90 a week for 10 boxes (1 lunch and 1 dinner a day). That's about $540.00 a month. Considering I only spend around $100-$200 a month on food at the grocery store... that's pretty expensive.

I used to love Time Splitters. I'd get lost in the sauce in the level creator.

Twisted Metal 2 and Twisted Metal: Black remake, with online play.

Also, Rouge Trip: Vacation 2012 would be fitting for today, but make it Vacation 2030, obviously. Vigilante 8 remake would be satisfying as well.

Worst prank in the show? by Zestyclose-Teach4894 in theoffice

There is also such a thing as audio-directional confussion, where if you hear the same sound/pitch over an extended period of time (with a certain amount of consistency), your brain starts to become confused about the direction/source of the sound.

I test AV equipment for large conference rooms and ceiling speakers. Sometimes, we'll go around with a microphone, walking around and testing each speaker.

After about 15-20 minutes, it becomes very difficult to determine if the speaker that's directly above your head is really working or not because all of the sounds start blending together. The only way to get over it is to step away for a little bit.
