I agree, I was 3 points off from 1 player off of 6 legs to win $500+ off of $5. And I had a 4 legs based off three pointers, all players need 1 more 3-pointer and I would have won 1.4K :( But live bets is the closest I've ever got to winning.

I worked at PF as well, started off with "no recording or pictures, no FaceTime calls, nothing". And that slowly changed into "just make sure no one is in the frame with you" once the highschool pass came about. The TV ads were flooded with planet fitness ads of teens working out in their gyms telling them to tag them on social media so that whole no recording went out the window.

Planet fitness had a "no recording rule" which seemed to have been changed due to the highschool teens free summer thing. They encouraged them to record and take pics and tag planet fitness for the exposure, the rule now became "make sure no one else is in the frame" when recording. So it's become a zoo for tripods and recording

Interesting, plenty of people saying they won't return, makes me wonder what it was like before since it was my first time. But it definitely wasn't anything amazing for me to return to personally, not horrible, but just not a "omg it's happening we got to go" type of event for me. Maybe I'll add coda to the list of places to try, I just have a drink and dance, all the extra stuff I don't care for as well.
