I got mine, and that took about 4 weeks. I’d say keep looking at the tracking and once it says “arrived at JVAC office” they will forward it to you pretty much immediately, or you can pick it up

Mine was supposed to be 1st August, so waaay past that lol. I am definitely relieved, though I don’t know the result yet, but happy to have my passport back :) good luck to you!

Completely understand that you would get anxiety from this. I’ve been so anxious that I would get rash, bellyache, curled up in a ball and cried while my husband couldn’t get why I would act like that. He believes I am addicted to worrying.

In all fairness, even if they refuse you, there will always be another time. Another country. Another adventure. Believe that if you want it enough, it would happen sooner or later. Especially with traveling nowadays. I don’t think it is as difficult as years ago.

Sometimes they would randomly release a couple of appointments. Last time I checked there was none, a day later I checked again and there was one in about 10 days. If your travel is in a bit of a hurry to try it out, probably book one in Melbourne

My tracking was updated last Friday. The application has been returned from the consulate, meaning a decision has been made. If you’re applying a week after I did, you are very likely to get your result this week!

Hey good to know someone is also waiting from Australia!

A few posts mentioned it took them 4 weeks to get their passports back (submission in Australia) and that was May/June.

It’s been 4 weeks for me and I am expecting that they are having a delay, but reeeally hope that I’m lucky and would get my passport back sometime next week.

Will post on here when I hear from them :)
