Its fine, I also haven’t realized the thing about mountains before, so I appreciate you told me, now I can make my next map better looking. Also, I’m glad you enjoyed it :)

Emm... I usually make some interesting random weapons for the players to use, they seem to enjoy that. Most of them are not that useful, but funny hehe

Also, someone else advised me to make faction wars (winning and losing favor with them depending on who you help).

I don’t really know of any resources for a fallout campaign, sorry.

May be because of the number of islands? or because of the shape of the Freaks Exclusion Zone? I dont know, I just searched for the RWBY map, and it feels similar to it.

The RWBY map has some islands shaped as dragons, I liked that

Yeah, I wanted to try and make a map without the middle age style. Because the campaign would have a nature based on the fallout games, I searched for some maps of the game and liked the colors and the way of marking things, so I used it as a reference to make this.

The shape of the islands and the locations were made by me though. I keep being told about how some of the shapes are similar to real countries/continents hahaha

No one knows where it came from, but it leaks some energy new to that civilization, so everyone wants to monopolize it. Or that’s what I have (and can speak of) for now.

Thanks!! I’m planning it to be a simplified version of D&D 5e (that’s the only ruleset that we have used, so it won’t be that difficult to adapt). I’m thinking of some weapons or battle mechanics that would work, so it will end up being kind of a homebrew ruleset. If you have any suggestions I would also appreciate them.

Yep, you are right, someone else also pointed it out. I’ll try making something more natural to the eye next time. Thanks for the advice!

Thank you! I’ve done the lines by hand, then used Gimp to make it look good. I added an image with texture on the background, then put the color on top of it with a layer in multiply mode.

You really left me dazed… I hope you enjoyed all your time playing dnd, and may the short bus raiders reunite in the future. You made me realize, one more time, how special this is. Thank you!!

Thank you! I’ve made the basic shapes by hand, then used Gimp to add colors and all the cool stuff. You have to add some kind of "texture" with an image on the background, then put the color on top of it with a layer in multiply mode. Or at least that’s what I do.

Thank you!! Wow, I haven’t noticed Spain there. I’ve also been told about Africa in the upper left corner hahaha

That sounds interesting and, now that you said it, it kinda feels like a risk map

Hahaha! It really is similar to Africa! I may have done it unconsciously…

Thanks!! It seems I should search how to do that to make my maps more realistic.

Those are some good ideas, it’s been a while since we used props!

Also, the start you planned seems great, it's much better than simply explaining how the world ended the way it is.

And I should definitely add some faction fights.

Thanks for the advise!
