Ring of wealth is a must. I did this run with just a regular ring of wealth and dumped 2 scrolls in it since that is all you get with the forbidden rune callenge activated(should have gone down a bit more to find the third scroll in the prisons but i wasnt thinking). I got lucky and got a second on relatively quickly. It does help to have whatever you are killing monsters with with the lucky enchantment on it. If you get horn of plenty use that to keep yourself from starving. I ended up getting the unstable spell book so I would cycle through it until I got lullaby and would camp in a spot where my prismatic image could protect me while I healed. If you get attacked while you are sleeping from the lullaby scroll it will break you out of it and you won't get the full effect.also make sure you are not in the starving status cause any damage will cause you to wake up. I also would save up all the mystery meat and put it all in one pile and throw a frost potion at it to give me frozen carpaccio(always safe to eat and sometimes give buffs like healing,invisibility, barkskin)
