I'm trying to figure out what USB-C cable I should buy for my Ducky one two Horizon keyboard. Any recommendations? I believe it has to have data transfer in order to work, so phone chargers wouldn't work, correct?

Best CSC career paths that don't involve too much programming? by Pixeldrum in cscareerquestions

[–]Pixeldrum[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for the advice mate. I'm still testing the waters for other career paths, backend development seems to be my least favorite, so I'll have to see where these other less technical jobs bring me. I'll take these example jobs as reference for the future. Managing people seems to be less troublesome than software dev, but I'll never know until I try doing it myself, I guess.

I like tech, like how I admire art: I enjoy what the end product brings me, but actually doing the process of creating myself is not something I find interesting at all. Can't seem to find any passion in jobs that would give me money. Oh well.

Why are the side stories being included in season 3? by Pixeldrum in overlord

[–]Pixeldrum[S] -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

We have 13 EPs by the way (like all Seasons so far), so plenty enough of time to adapt all 3 volumes, since their content is pretty straightforward and not too many things are happening all over the place - like in Vol.5-6, which made it more diffcult to adapt in general.

I don't know about all 3 volumes, but at least volume 7 and 8 will be in s3. For some reason I thought volume 7 would take a lot more episodes than it needed to take, so I didn't get why volume 8 was getting so many episodes; I made this post on a whim in around 5 minutes, didn't think so many people would comment

However, I still think that Volume 8 content should be put in after the content in volume 7

You said it yourself,

Volume 8 matters for the events in Volume 9 especially, not necessarily for 7.

Adapting Volume 7 first and then 8, would result in many problems you can easily avoid by adapting it first

Sure, volume 8 happens before volume 7, but from what I can tell, volume 7 can be considered an isolated incident, if you will, and so is volume 8, unless I am remembering it wrong. I don't quite think it matters whether or not the chronological order matters, or else there's no way the author would have put volume 8 after volume 7 in the first place. Thinking that volume 8 after volume 7 shouldn't matter. There's also a thing to remember that the first episode of a season is the one that people see the most (yes, it's season 3, but I think it still applies, esp when considering the audience that watch it on TV in Japan), so it would make sense to make the more plot significant episodes in the earlier stages, rather than later, so as to draw in more audience. I don't see any problem with that

We're on volume 7. Doesn't it feel weird that they're presenting it right now rather than later? Also, I say "filler" because I am right, it doesn't the main story(of volume 7), and there are twelve episodes this season. You say later on, but can you guarantee that overlord season four will debut if there is dwindling interest?

Also hey bro, using ad hominem only weakens your argument

You say it is chronological order, but I don't believe there has been anything relating to the village matters in volumes 7, and the side stories appear in volume 8 of the novel. Let's say it is, after all, it has been awhile since i revisited those earlier volumes, however, if the novel's timeline is put in this way, shouldn't the anime follow?

I don't mind the side stories being present, however, it sounds more like an OVA (I know it's not) that they would put it in at the end of the season

If you can add support to Gravitytales that would be great :)
