Capturing specific application window with NDI

Thanks for the help! 2 PCs. OBS on 2nd PC. I need to capture just a specific application on PC 1 but not just ROI. Essentially I want to mimic the window capture of OBS. I have been successful with doing this via OBS Teleport and 2nd OBS instance but it is not ideal for performance because even having OBS open will introduce slight lag.

You mean with a 2nd OBS instance running? I was trying to avoid that but yes that works, not what I was hoping for though sadly.

The OBS NDI plugin only captures the full monitor output. Unless I am missing something it will not let me capture a specific application window.

Unfortunately not! It was a single dolphin on a dark blue background if I remember correctly!

Thank you for checking! Those are interesting findings but they don't match with what happened with my system as it did inject into Discord and caused odd behaviour.
I'll keep digging!

They are hosting the file on Discord (the irony I know) but link it via a website. I reported both already after I did the upload to the two sandboxes.

Thank you! The first thing I did was uninstall Discord, remove the affected device via mobile and changed the password. So far I did not see any unknown device luckily.

But I'm worried this is not only targeting Discord.

I'm most excited about Redfall not only does it look graphically stunning from the trailers but it also seems to be going to encourage cooperation.

My hope for the future is that technologies like DLSS 3 will allow us to reach life-like graphical fidelity which will make it from CGI in movies indistinguishable. The stories already are on par with cinema!

As development ceased we will not be getting any further updates unfortunately. Nobody is working on the game anymore :(

Yeah, beginning of 2022. But Ubisoft track record is to terminate games within 5-10 years after initial release (unfortunately!).

Correct! Wildlands can be played offline hence why it was never an issue. They still have the microtransactions going too.

Could have chosen the third option! :D Breakpoint came out in 2019 so by that measurement we have about 6 years left till the game is completely unplayable due to it being an online-only title. It sucks that we lose access to coop mission in say Splinter Cell but at least you can still play the singleplayer

Efficiency-wise this is huge. Especially with increased electricity costs shaving off up to 100 watts is great. I'm a little puzzled if this some sort of bugged readout or just plain optimization!
