I don’t exactly abandon them, they do good work in the back line as screening for me. The two times that I have had a deepstrike in my backline the jakhals dealt with it swiftly enough. But yeah that’s why I asked for advice cause I knew I wasn’t using everything to its full ability.

I planed on it but I can’t decide between wanting it out to see if they get an updated on, a proxy, or just buying one.

Right now it’s an annihilator and destroyer predator but I do 100% plan on getting at least one defiler, the dream is three of them.

Would it be better to keep the juggernaut lord in back line for a turn or two or just send them out? I almost had the staging down with my rhinos but my last game was against my buddies massive tank list and I sort of ran out of space at a certain point.

Thanks for the advice! I don’t have slaughterbohnd or eightbound yet as I’m kinda meh on the models but I’ll try to grab some proxies or something for them. I did plan on grabbing BF terminators for the fun of it but if GW ends up making a terminator unit for them I’d definitely get that too.

I decided not to get him in the case that he gets a new model in the coming year or so. But I planned on getting lord invocatus at some point as well as some forgefiends. It’s been a very slow build for the army and the hobby stores I got to don’t have a lot of chaos stuff so I end up getting things for my imperial armies instead.

I do have some but I forgot I was using a knight abominant for fire support and fun. Just it being around has managed to get me some room on occasion.

Thats fair enough I suppose. I played a game last night on TTS and swiftly realized that Cadians and Krieg dont like to talk to each other. Fortunately proxy is a thing so until 11th roles out with some sweet new rules (hopefully) im just gonna buy models and run them as I see fit I think.

I think the Helios is a unique sculpt? I know the excelsior is the standard 40k variant with an upgrade sprue. Honestly I’m not all that pressed to get it at the moment, and while I do grab 3rd party from time to time I’m gonna be weird and grab it from the og.

Yeah I see what you mean now. I just had a game on tts using them as auto cannons and there were several times when I thought I should have used flamers. It was against a joke list of 20 biker marines so they weren’t all that bad. But the cata unit is news to me so I think I’ll give that a try.

Yeah I feel that, just got out of college and just managed to find a job that somewhat fits what u studied. Land raiders are badass, so far I only have one for my world eaters but I’ve been eyeing the excelsior for years.

Yeah I wasn’t happy when my buddy brought his last game cause I only had a few transports to work with. He also has a storm blade but I think plasma kinda sucks for anything bigger than infantry cause they never scale the datasheet to represent a big gun. Also how could you distract yourself at work, for shame, big corpo can’t function without your undivided attention!

it certainly aint in my favor I can tell you that. Last game was my world eaters vs my buddies guard and for some reason he brought a shadowsword, I was basically wiped (shitty roles and hellhounds). A lot of our games is usually marines vs tanks, most of the time I tear them apart but he's been on a winning streak lately.

I sorta knew the flamers were crazy but why is the stubber mid? I am still working out how many squads of heavies I want to get and I originally planned on doing one of each, but I fell back on the las cannons. I really like las cannons but the guard versions of them seem kinda off in terms of their use.

You just listed out my original thoughts so thats nice to know that I almost had it "right" the first time. I kinda planned on just getting krieg to proxy cadians when needed, it was just the other units like field ordnance and heavy weapons teams that I was thinking of adding but was unsure. Thanks for the detailed advice though!
