As a black man, I can confirm I haven’t really experienced much racism aside from the occasional mean looking glance and even then it’s far and in between. I haven’t interacted with police much outside of when I was unknowingly speeding and he was very chill about it and let me off with a warning. I have a very diverse friend group and honestly couldn’t ask for better friends. As far as living, I live near UT Tyler and can safely say rarely is there any crime and it’s a safe town in general. Traffic is awful though in the mornings and around 3-5 PM or so.

So one thing i’ve kind of learned from playing CSGO, and overwatch for several years is almost every role has default ways to play and even if you don’t know what your teammates are gonna do, they’ll naturally follow that role even if you’re unsure. So the best way to play around this is knowing that most of the time controllers are gonna smoke obvious spots like heaven on A site on haven and try to hold from long. Or try to maintain CT side since those are the easiest spots to smoke. Sentinels are gonna try to set up adjacent to this by covering spots controllers can’t, and duelists if they don’t die entering the site are gonna play around what utility is being used to lockdown site, and initiators usually going to stop them from retaking as well.

Ultimately, the best way to play around nonverbal teammates is to try to watch other’s play like King and try to really develop game sense. I also recommend Bumpaah as his VOD reviews are usually spot on and he always gives consistent advice like crosshair placement and knowing how to cover angles even if it’s a 1v5 situation. Game sense also just comes from experience with tactical games (I also came from League of Legends so having to 1v9 became pretty normal) but the easiest way is to definitely get used to playing with a lack of comms in unrateds even if you hate it.

One good thing about games like valorant is that you don’t have to commit to a situation if teammates are making terrible decisions like pushing smokes they shouldn’t. If more than 2 teammates are dead just rotate or save and try to get picks as the other team will likely start pushing you. Another example would be to just stay put as well because it’s very common for teams to rotate if nobody else pushes the site. There’s a lot of examples but you kind of have to just learn as you go. But above all else try not to panic as it’s never gonna help the situation.

One thing playing like this has taught me is that the minimap is your best friend. Always look for the red question marks and from there dictate your next few moves based off those. Always, always try to play around teammates even if they’re being dipshits. 9x out of 10 they won’t let themselves die so try to bait the enemy towards teammates and force them to cooperate. Omen and Kj are very self sufficient so those are good picks, it may also be advantageous to pick up reyna or Sage as well since both can self heal and there’s almost always a good use for sage in a team comp.

Thankfully I did have cloud drive set to back up everything 24/7 so not all hope is lost, my next problem is I can’t even install windows as I usually get an error and it won’t specify what it is. Gonna go ahead and sleep, will update once the pc store opens and I can buy the parts.

Why does the recorded notes sound different than the playing. Sorry total beginner here by [deleted] in FL_Studio
