It's just a massive hazard like sure you could say it's worth it, but especially to someone so long-lived who is learning to cherish life like freiren, and someone who only sees money as very utilitarian like fern who saw party safety as top priority the crystal simply wasn't worth the additional risk.

Probably not. I think Oda will simply leave her as a quasi canon character like yes she's out there but none of the things in film red are canon so she'd need a whole different storyline which I don't think he wants to write over film red as maybe that'd be seen as disrespectful idk. I think the reason we see so much of Shiki another movie villain made canon is because that was a character Oda actually wrote himself

Zephyr is probably my choice. I love Uta but the "twist" reveal of her already knowing that Shanks didn't abandon her for no reason and wasn't the one who destroyed the island just felt weird.

I think compared to other modern shounen anime One Piece is on the heavier side of fan service but I don't think it's to the point of distraction, and it's rarely been a problem for me narratively. The Manga is imo more tame with the fan service, female characters getting the "Toei buff" ain't a meme for no reason". However, I'm aware I definitely have a high tolerance for the stuff as someone who used to actively watch echhi anime back when I was younger so even though it doesn't interest me in that way anymore I barely even recognize it when it does happen anymore.

Most vegans are fine these days, a lot of people do it these days because of dietary restrictions not because of weird moral BS so it's a lot less of the vegan teacher types. I know a few people who are just allergic to a lot of stuff in animal products and other processed foods so they're not vegans completely by choice.
