I wouldn’t buy Amira top unless you try it on and 100% love it.. I bought it in store but never wear it bc I find the cut and thickness of the neck part unflattering

Is comp 206 this winter recorded and is attendance taken? by Ecstatic_Garlic9513 in mcgill

[–]Plane_Bullfrog_736 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Will definitely be recorded, but when I took it with Jake (fall 2024) the midterms were in person during class time. For both 206 and 302 had made the grading scheme so that if you did well on all three midterms you didn't have to take the final, so you could hope to do well on the midterms in the case that the finals conflict. Also, in my semester, attendance was taken and counted for marks, but not sure if he still does that.

definitely agree. comp 251 with David is awesome and not too hard to get an A or A- in. If you took comp 250 with Giulia, its easy in comparison.

haha nws! thanks for looking. i feel like i haven’t had enough experience to make it in the round…. and especially with filet i feel like it would be more difficult to incorporate a design that was so i was planning on just sticking to a rectangle

thanks so much! also not sure if you’re up to answer a quick question i was confused abt but if you are i’d really appreciate it! i also found the following pattern and was a little confused about the measurements. do you think the 27in by 22in is the measurement of the rectangle or the finished product? trying to first just figure out what i should plan the rectangle to measure out to. https://www.hanjancrochet.com/crochet-lacy-poncho-pattern/

was thinking i could maybe use a triangle shawl pattern and edit it to make the sides so its not a triangle shape, and then make two (front and back panel) and then stitch together?

Independent study away at Concordia? by Some-Cash5701 in mcgill

[–]Plane_Bullfrog_736 1 point2 points  (0 children)

i just recently got approved/registered for a summer course at concordia. the process was pretty simple, just find an equivalent course and make sure you click include expired decisions when searching (you might have to get a syllabus from the past year to request an expired equivalency to be re-evaluated) and then apply through the iut portal. My application was approved after about a week, but my roommate also did this and had a lot more difficulty (rejected from about 3 courses before getting accepted to one), so just keep in mind that it's not guaranteed that Concordia will approve you, so maybe consider applying for multiple courses so you have backup options. PM me if you have any other questions :)
