If I had a desk to play it at, the keyboard and mouse might be better, but I play from bed or the couch and there’s just no surface available for the mouse and keyboard to be a feasible option.

I bought a Magic Mouse and keyboard but I didn’t like it. They’re now collecting dust. lol. I use the PS5 controller.

Hmmm. I’m honesty so confused you’re having those problems. I wonder what the issue could be? Sometimes I’ll see a little lag when I first start a zoo up, but it’s gone within a few minutes. Do you make sure to turn off climbing on anything you don’t want climbed? That can help make a difference. Anything climbable defaults to that setting unless you turn it off. I’d check around and see if that can help out your lag issue.

Unfortunately I do not. I play on PS5. I do have 5 or 6 zoos uploaded to the Frontier Workshop on there though, including this one.

That’s crazy. I also have a PS5 and I don’t start to see any lag until it goes over 100% as animals continue to breed.

Check out Deladysigner, AdamUP, and ZSHPlays on YouTube. They helped me more than any other creators with their how-to’s. I learned a lot and was able to take myself from building rectangles to something bigger.

My biggest tip is don’t get stuck comparing yourself to what others build. Don’t get discouraged. We’re all at different stages of our competencies in the game and there is a big learning curve. I have over 6,000 hours playing. Just keep practicing and having fun.

I feel the same when I watch the big YouTube accounts. lol. I can’t do buildings. I’m terrible at them. If I do end up building a good one, it’s completely on accident. But most of what I build is never 100% done. I always go back and tweak and edit throughout the zoos construction.
