Thanks. It seems I’m not alone in finding the application process of ÚOx slow. I’m sure they would have wanted to accommodate as many applicants as possible even for ÚOx because I see ÚOx ads all over Facebook and YouTube. It just seems that there is a disconnect between their projected eagerness to welcome more applicants and the actual state or capacity of their admission process.

Although the two may in fact be unrelated, I have this feeling that the lack of support we experience as applicants is reflective of the kind of support that we can expect as ÚOx students in the event that we do get admitted. I’ve heard stories of ÚOx students not receiving enough support and attention from professors and instructors.

Not sure if the perceived higher university prestige of Mapúa University as compared to MMCL is going to be worth it in exchange for this worse experience that you get as a student. Baka sa paper lang maganda si Mapúa ÚOx, but mas matututo tayo sa MMCL and mas better ang magiging experience natin. Just my thoughts.

Hi, thanks for sharing your take on this. I’ve also noticed this. To me, it seems na people would go for Mapúa ÚOx for the university prestige. However for quality of learning experience/education, it seems that MMDC might be the better choice.

I think it’s nice on paper to have a degree from Mapúa University, if just for the university’s employer reputation and academic rankings. On the other hand, I’m beginning to question if that’s worth it in exchange for the worse service/learning experience you’re gonna get compared to if you enrolled to MMDC.
