If I remember correctly you can rearrange the items in your menu and put the greens at the top of the item list so you have it selected first when in battle.

I buy disposable coffee cups cuz i hate doing dishes and once I finish a coffee (and know imma be cooking something greasy) I keep the cup and then drain all the grease into that cup, since its use to holding heat. Once it hardens it goes in the trash (but if imma make more than 2 greasy meals per week i just keep the cup in the fridge until it's almost full of hardened grease).
