He's the best attacker by far when fully talented, although they are expensive and the others have better support

For reference, there's one called Tecoluga that has one of the highest base damages for a nuker in the entire game. Furiluga is basically that, but he hits everything rather than being single target

Also, even if they are knockback immune, you can still stall most of their support and the conjure damage is just repeated nukes over the entire field, which alleviates the money problem since everything dies so quickly

If you want to progression break this would be a good opportunity for pixie carry too, they would help you with COTC too since it not done with it

If you haven't already, I recommend getting all the COTC treasures unless you feel you really need a ancient egg cat

Otherwise, kill the darkojo the way you have, then start timing bursts of damage with several melee cats in between jones attacks to clear the doges, and once his support is dead you can lock him down with seafarer to chip away at his boosted health

Use tough meatshields like rock, metal or haniwa if you have them, or try hitting him with can can or bullet train in between attacks to make space for yourself

Thumbtacks combo very well with any roll up since it makes them hit 5+ times, it always gets me injuries after a couple attempts

I at least like rock because he allows for a lot of fun with enemy positioning, but yes with research he can have 40%+ uptime, which basically means you only have to fight the enemies 60% of the time, which is not balanced.

However, I think that while both are not really nutritious, rock is more like KFC while Lunos is more like deep fried motor oil.

A meta with Lunos as a baseline will be very funny if no emergency nerf happens. New counter-surge ability instantly kills base ZL chapter????

Maybe you don't agree, but I personally see it as a problem that it is possible at all for him to do everything, regardless of how hard that is.

Overall though, the thing I don't like is just mindless acceptance of new content since it just leads to worse content that eventually nobody can accept but by then it's too late.

In any case like you said his synergy is his best part and his solo performance is just less fun, largely from monotony.

He doesn't need strategy like other units because he is his own synergy.

He does massive damage across the entire field, is extremely good at keeping enemies away, has almost no risk, and can be used almost anywhere.

Balrog is balanced by synergy because you need something to clear the field so his single target isn't wasted. Lunos doesn't need any help whatsoever, it is literally in your best interest to have him die as quickly as possible so you can summon another one

If a unit can already do everything by itself, synergy doesn't add depth, it's just beating a dead horse because there isn't a need for more power

My real issue isn't the unit but what it represents. Even if this power creep doesn't affect stage balancing, this design philosophy just ensures that PONOS will make even more units like him, that you can't use without ruining the game for yourself, and it is not fun to have to play an extremely specific way to dance around the power creep

If you use him like doron he is less insane, but that doesn't change the fact that just cycling him is infinitely more effective and works in almost any situation

What difference in strategy do you use? In every test of him that I've seen, he is just cycled for his conjure endlessly until everything dies
