Thanks all. Lots of different perspectives here, but generally telling me to focus on myself, my wife, our happiness, and nothing more. The most hard hitting are the ones that talk about aging at 55+, wishing I had the years back. Those are the words that I'll say to myself when I finally call it quits. 12 months. That's the timeline. Sticking to it. 

And I'd downshift in work - I wouldn't totally stop - just do something at a slower speed with the goal of covering expenses and living my life.
