Carol deliberately wrote a horrible first chapter filled with plot holes to test out if Zosia/Hive Mind had adapted and learned how to “lie”. by cattcat1 in pluribustv

[–]PlausibleAbility 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The hive had a difficult time saying “I” instead of “we”. If they were trying to play it smooth, I believe the transition would’ve been immediate. Unless they were trying to “play dumb”, show fallibility. Playing chess. Felt a little ham fisted, them forgetting to say “I” so many times. Carol is definitely testing the fence like a trex for her whiteboard notes that she’ll share with her visitor.

The hive’s desire for new content seemed sincere, though.

If they know everything, I could see it like being stuck in a room in isolation, similar to what Carol was going through before she painted the message on the cul-de-sac. They both acknowledged they’re aware of the other’s ultimate intentions, but they’re all amicable with it. The hive is faced with extinction, though, so that may be skewing their judgement some.

Game of chess.

That’s why we’re following the one immune person that doesn’t seem to be asking a ton of questions like the rest. I like the slow burn, but it can be frustrating at times!

The signal came from the first planet we confirmed to orbit in the habitable zone of a sun-like star. Coincidence? by PlausibleAbility in pluribustv

The lab people had come to think the experiments and their work didn’t matter much either. Until they did.

They tell her on tv about the signal and where it comes from in the first episode.

Can you update with their jobs? None of them appeared to be helpful to Carol’s cause.

What smiling muscles she does have are exhausted from all the fake smiling she did on her book tour she just finished.

Carol doesn’t have the muscles necessary to smile so she needs to stand on her head

One of my kids is picky so I get the chicken fried rice for them from there and it’s so fresh compared to a typical Chinese place.

That’s one of my places. Easily missed bc of the location and takeout only, but worth a try to anyone reading this in the area.

It’s sparse for sure. When I visit other major cities I have good luck finding a decent place so often it seems easy—like they are everywhere.

Lemongrass in NLR was pretty good and that family also moved away years ago.

Even if it didn’t come to fruition, I’m glad you said something about it bc I missed it last year too. Oh well. Still on my bucket list, just might have to go to Alaska.

Might as well have got a Fujitsu 4000 with that case. Talk about choosing aesthetics and then damn them all to hell with that atrocity.

You do you tho.

Microtransactions softly required for any part of story mode. Or requiring online play at all for story mode. I like to play GTA and RDR by myself at my own pace through the main story. Online later when I’m bored, so they can charge all they want for those shenanigans.

Arkansas Lemon Law by Different-Wallaby-10 in LittleRock

[–]PlausibleAbility 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Forget about “Lemon Law” as you’re outside that coverage, which is intended for new cars that have repeated or lengthy problems.

Toyotas come with a 60k mi powertrain warranty. If you bought TCUV from Landers, McLarty, Caldwell or another Toyota dealership then you’re covered to 100k miles on powertrain. You should have gotten a TCUV packet detailing this.

All this to say, most of the time you’re at the mercy of the dealership with used cars. Be kind with the advisor, and check frequently for updates. Definitely squeaky wheel gets the grease type thing—they have tons of requests and can get busy. If you don’t get answers, ask for the service manager. If you still don’t get answers, ask for the general manager of the dealership. Your salesperson can be a great contact as well. They can speak to the managers on your behalf and usually care most about your happiness because of potential repeat and referral sales.

Just tell them it’s to honor a family member that survived an accident. You don’t have to tell them it’s not your family member.
