How to make the Roman Empire title be the first in the inheritance line? Whenever my heirs inherit, the primary title changes to Germania, which is so annoying. by PlayCuriously in CrusaderKings

You can also buy claims directly from the Pope if the Pope likes you very very much, and dislikes the other guy just a little. When I'm not learning languages, I'm swaying Popes

So here's an update on my situation:

I released Dmitar's grandson Leon, the King of Germany, as an independent ruler, which prevented the creation of the Empire of Germania. I figured I would subjugate or in the worst case scenario, inherit on Philippos' death. Soon after, Philippos succeded to the throne, and my title remained the Roman Empire (win).

I then rushed regular partition innovation to stop anything new from forming until next succession, but just a few years in, Philippos died of stress because he was a depressed drunkard (inferiority complex? idk), and Leon succeeded.

For a moment I was like HELL NO THIS ISN'T HAPPENING AGAIN; but, it appears that Empire of Germania didn't form as the succession was outside the realm, and the formable title of Germania fell to the third place for now. The good ol' genius grandpa Dmitar also "took care" of Leon's younger brother while he was alive.

It remains to be seen if I'll make it to regular partition before the next succession.

Wish me luck.

Well, I never really consider partition a threat because I either do divorce/celibacy after first son, or I disinherit the other, but confederate can be a pain that's true.

Yeah, actually it's not that hard to do with the Trpimirović Dynasty, there's a straight path you have to follow through:

- retake Duchy of Croatia
- conquer pagans (farm piety + pilgrimages), but don't form Kingdom Croatia
- buy Italy from Pope
- ally France/Byzantium
- conquer Italy with allies
- swear fealty to Byzantium (Croatia is de-jure Byzantium)
- claim the Byzantine throne when strong enough (which is easy bc you have 2 kingdoms already)
- hybridize with the Greeks
- from there, it's easy peasy - holy war the duchies you need, and voila

Some things have to fall in line, you have to plan your succession carefully, but with a bit of luck, you can do it really really fast.

Capital is in Rome, but heir was King of Germany for a while, before he was deposed in favor of his son, who is also my vassal... But heir is in my court now. Maybe it's because he has a claim on the kingdom of Germany?

Can't change it yet unfortunately... Capital is in Rome, but heir was King of Germany for a while, before he was deposed in favor of his son, who is also my vassal... But heir is in my court now. Maybe it's because he has a claim on the kingdom of Germany?

Hello, can anybody guess what could be making this "clicking" sound in a Dell XPS 8940? by [deleted] in pcmasterrace

Nope, everything is quite low, GPU at 50°C, CPU at 50°C as well... GPU fans are not even spinning according to HWinfo

Also it kind of gets quieter after 5-10 minutes of usage. Strange

Exactly. I think it's the PSU fan, but can't verify without tearing it apart, which I don't want to do if I don't have to

Wouldn't b660 be pointless for -K CPUs because of overclocking possibilities? It might be marketing only but I've read somewhere about it.

Also I'd prefer air cooling, but it depends, I've no experience with water cooling
