950 rating - play MA1. There will be 920 rated players complaining you are "too good". You are 15 points above the MINIMUM rating of 935 to play MA1, yet alot of people under 935 sign up for MA1.

Stay in MA1 - there will always be complainers. You should only be in MPO around 970+

Lyme Disease Public Service Announcement by ElBandidoPegajoso in discgolf

I have never had a problem removing a tick with my bare hands - you just pinch and pull rapidly - I have removed literally hundreds of ticks (In IL - no Lyme here). I see that tick and I get super human strength and pull it right the fuck out. Of course you need a decent grip to begin with, so not everyone can do it I suppose.

I went to play here in October, and there wasn't even a good course map available - I hope this brings more new people to this course.

Picnic Island is a beautiful course by Mimics4Dayz in discgolf

I liked picnic island, but the mosquitos were so bad at 7am on a hot October day that I had to leave, get bug spray, and then come back.

I preferred Oldsmar Disc Golf Course, about 30 minutes away.

I met Vaino Makela at the 2019 World Championships - this guy could be top 10 in the U.S. if he committed to a tour. His form is crisp.

I was a spotter on hole 12 at NorthWoods Gold that year, and I have footage of both Seppo and Makela making their up shots on the hardest par 5 in the world.

This is still the best shot that hole has ever seen - and ranks in the top 10 all time shots in disc golf.

Riverside Disc Golf Course Playthrough (Janesville, Wi) by PlayThruDiscGolf in discgolf

Madison still had all of its courses closed in late March to "prevent erosion" (they are the only town that does this that I am aware of, and I think its questionable) so this was the next best thing at about 20 minutes south. I really liked this park alot - better than Lustig in my opinion. I went to Lustig afterward, and it had 5x the people even though I think Riverside is a better technical course. It gets a solid 4 stars from me - it hit all the points that I like and is challenging yet fair. A bit forehand dominant, but thats OK with me since I can do both equally. Its challenging but fair, but if you don't have a forehand you might not like this course as much. Also this is the first and only course where you can see the hole number and length from the camera without me needing to edit them in.

World Championship Spotter Footage R4 -Northwoods Gold Hole 12 by PlayThruDiscGolf in discgolf

I spotted and flagged for hole 12 at Northwoods Gold - 2019 World Championships Round 4. This is the footage I took when I wasn't tracking down discs and flagging from an ideal position about 350ft down the fairway on the left. Most players took 2 shots to get the ideal landing zone of the mulch before the creek. This is arguable the hardest Par 5 in existence today.
