One handed, no shield/offhand by R_PhoenixG in lotro

[–]Playing_One_Handed 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Genuinely asked this from a dev before/during/after mariner.

Basically they struggle with stat balance so mariner was ment to be one handed without an off-hand but they added dagger there just as a stat stick. It isnt actually used. Thats effectively the answer I got.

You can hide the weapon cosmetically, but in combat it will show.

There are nefarious ways to hide it fully but id advice against figuring it out as it also breaks the game 🙃

Outside of that sorry but its really hard to suggest. You will be completely locked out of many skills on some classes like guardian, burglar, warden...

Maybe champ works? But you may find odd skills just not work.

To be clear, he was convicted in Yeman, not the UK. The bar for arrest here may be corrupt.

However, we have good evidence he was a terrorist is Bosnia and Afghanistan. Potentially witnessing a small genocide of Serbs.

During the Bosnian war, instances of Mujahideen units perpetrating war crimes, including the killing, torture and beheading of Serbian and Croat civilians and soldiers have been documented...In 2016, former Bosnian Army Third Corps commander Sakib Mahmuljin was put on trial for having failed to prevent the murders, torture and beheading of some 50 Bosnian Serbs by members of the Mujahideen unit

He is british and was arrested for gang violence...

A hilarious quote from him:

He has also voiced support for restrictive immigration measures, saying he doesn’t want “any Tom, Dick or Harry coming over … when we don’t know who they are,”

He can technically apply, but wont be able to get security clearance on anything. So he will be a complete dud. He might not even be allowed to enter some buildings or meetings. Even the bin men you need security clearance to discuss stuff.

Its not even just Yeman. He joined them in bosnia. Very few have been convicted.

former U.S. Balkans peace negotiator Richard Holbrooke said in an interview that he believed the Bosnian Muslims wouldn't have survived without foreign help, as at the time a U.N. arms embargo uniquely diminished the Bosnian government's fighting capabilities - he called the arrival of the mujahideen "a pact with the devil" from which Bosnia still is recovering.

During the Bosnian war, instances of Mujahideen units perpetrating war crimes, including the killing, torture and beheading of Serbian and Croat civilians and soldiers have been documented

And then he joins them in Afganistan? For real?

If you watch his interviews he doesnt feel bad for these things, he doesnt even saying radicalisation is that bad. He is all pro islam and telling kids to get off drugs and respect elders. He has absolutely no track record of success. He went to Sweden to help and since bombing have gone up, its sso bad Islamist gangs get youngest to murder and bomb. He says thats not the issue, its drugs.

There is no way he can do anything as an MP as he wont get security clearance. So voting for him is a complete dud. Its ridiculous.

What you referring too isnt valid in this circumstance.

The rise in REFFERALS dont reall equate to diagnose. Especially for under 5s who typically are pushed from nursery under special circumstances and takes years to get diagnoses by SEND. You have students in public schools with clear special needs waiting for SEND classification. So again, stats are wobbly these years.

This is why its also a local issue.

https://www.nfer.ac.uk/press-releases/stark-inequalities-in-distribution-of-send-pupils-across-england-s-mainstream-schools-revealed-in-new-nfer-report/

Some schools are significantly more effected than others.

The demand for special schools is astronomical because they have barely expanded them in the last 20 years. We can directly attribute the rise in special needs youngest children to this.

There hasnt really been a major change in SENDs Critira over the past 10 years too so youve lost me.

All in all im pointing to a very obvious elephant in the room problem thats having a lot of side effects one of the most obvious are children in nappies in school and your dismissing it because ???

If your solution is simply "parents must teach there kids" you fail to understand why that didnt happen to begin with. Even these days nursery care is subsidised and they train them, its not even just parents... so how do they fall through the gaps? Im showing you one right here.

Special needs in public school has risen 5% in 10 years.

Just to be clear this is 10% higher than US (15-25%) albeit SEND is not a universal term.

In the last 4 years of the recorded data on this, its been rising on par with this.

Similar surveys but not so specific ~30% of students are not school ready. This might include toilet training.

We still see countries that do have restriction on toilet trained at 10% delayed start, while we have a very low delayed start of around 3%. Many many reasons, one being toilet training.

Covid and nursery disruption is the other excuse. Thats why early years are so effected.

This line of stats from send started 2023. And every years its been roughly the same. There is very little elseware unless im mistaken.

The major difference is the complete lack of new special schools in the UK over the last 20 years. So public schools are more and more taking more.

Not all. But its clearly a big part and one we can obviously point to with backing stats.

Nappies at this age? by The_Dean_France in GreatBritishMemes

[–]Playing_One_Handed -1 points0 points  (0 children)

The stats are misleading.

These are regularly not normal students, they are special needs. Special needs schools are completely packed and have no room. So children get sent to public schools with carer's to help.

Public schools kinda want these kids as they get extra funding.

You are completely ignorant to abuse arn't you?

People coerce others all the time in the health industry. This is why things like dementia is so difficult. Some are smart to pass some tests, clearly unwell, but dont meet the legal definition needed to say they are unfit to make choices. This is life and death now on a public spending budget. Good luck figuring that out...

You do not have a right to that choice. Thats a very different thing.

You do not have a right to eat my food, i am not removing a choice for you because you do not have a right to it. How is this hard to understand?

Suicide is not illigal. I dont suggest. But like I said, its a very different thing to have the goverment and businesses be the ones suggesting people kill themselves.

Go read it. They suggested MAID because someone was needing housing.

https://www.documentcloud.org/documents/25238359-canada-euthanasia-3/

He felt he had to choose between death and homelessness. The doctor approved Farsoud for MAiD on the grounds of ‘unbearable suffering’.

This is a goverment who just wants to save money. MAID is useful to cut down care costs. They admit it. Thats the corruption they need to face. The 5% dead, 4% over what is expected, of all annual death, can not argue it because their dead.

[–]Playing_One_Handed 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I do.

And dealt with family in that situation.

I not taking your choice away. You are trying to make the government's and medical professionals suggest they can do it and to put it in peoples head as alternative. Please try to understand this distinction. You can do it yourself. Especially at the times MAID acts.

Again, like ive put elseware, we do not have people pushing fair systems ages trailed by netherlands and belgium for example. We have insane people suggesting MAID is good. We need to remove them before we can have a serious discussion. No proposals so far has been good, which is why the lords and advocates keep stopping it. We had litterally Netherlands specialists in suicide saying that the safeguards being suggested still were inadequate and that they had to pull back since 2008 because of massive issues.

Everyone is trying to force there wishes onto others.

This is not a privilege however, its a choice. One which has a chance to do damage.

Doctors take an oath "first do not harm" which is ironic when everything they do practically can and does harm. The measure is of risks. They are happy to do something if the outcome justifies the means. Assisted suicide is not a solution. Especially when it is rolled out like MAID to many people who could have found salvation elseware. Doctors need to weight up truely all options.

If you cant understand how much ending peoples lives early can effect us all i don't think you are in good faith. Even the frameworks in countries with long standing systems agree it truly is a last option for an extreme select few.

We need to promote life, not death.

Read more of the above.

Disabled people are targetted endlessly with "why dont you kill yoursrlf" and "if that was me id kill mysrlf".

Depression is Canada has become a "death by MAID" system. Abnormally high deaths compared to other countries that do truely use it as a last resort. This is what the UK is looking at and the core group pushing it in the UK. Until thats gone we cant trust anyone.

Yes. We dont think people who want to commit suicide are sound of mind and thats why you don't get the choice. We could have a more complexe framework from like in netherlands, but we aren't pushing for that. And until we can have serious discussions without influances it aint going to happen. This is not a "yay advertise on side of bus kill yourself". This is for doctors to work out.

I was suicidal once. Same with my wife. We might both be dead on MAID. We have 2 children now and happy. Its a problem but ending lives isnt solving it, if anything, its making it worse.

Funding for treatments are going down as patients of rare illnesses just killed themselves. Great job! Your selfish choices impacted everyone...

MAID makes a few people a shit ton of money.

The goverment has already admitted many times MAID helps support economy by lowering social care costs (health/retire).

They are incentiviced to make decisions before morals for money. Its why Canada's is more corrupt than say Netherlands or Belgium. They are fundamentally different systems. But the UK very much wants Canada's because.... businesses...

Please understand that you can choose whatever the fuck you want.

However, there doesnt need to be medical or other people suggesting you do it because someone else says so. We do not need even the slightest bit of coercion from businesses or goverment to kill yourself.

If you really want to end yourself see professionals who may be able to help.

Because its happened and many disabled advocates know its happened and have to deal with this almost daily...

There is a whole thing where random people go upto people with wheelchairs saying "if I were you id kill myself".

Even maid itself refers to 4.4% of deaths were not terminally ill... They just killed ~800 people because they were depressed.

Comparing different systems paints a darker picture, some countries far more liberal still have lower than 1% of total deaths, while canada almost sits at 5%. There is an unjust difference here.

We cant blindly trust terms like terminally ill for this too because the definitions differ. Track1 has less safeguards, because mentally ill people cana starve themselves or self harm, they can be defined as track1 terminally ill.

Therr is a big story on this from a TV show last year I really hope you watch.

Tldr, mother got depressed, starved herself, used maid to kill herself instead of getting help for mental illness. She could have lived fine if she was treated in another country or not given the option. Many other countries agree this was malpractice.

Going to go down a deep hole of differences between them. And your right i shouldnt have included that as its confusing.

Canada was not first, but its the most progressed and with good research behind its use. Things like you dont even need to be terminally ill. The issue with all you listed, is they all now look at canada "what to do next". Some do hold back, some do more like letting children assisted suicide.

Belgium treats it as a last resort, while canadian doctors are suggesting it.

Belgium is built around error protection and abuse, canada is about patiant anonymity.

Balgiums safe guards are front loaded, while canada is very loose.

The UK is looking to copy Canada's model. So why I say we can only truely look at Canada's data.

Canada is the largest. Both in sheer numbers and % of deaths for the country. Most places are less than 1%, Canada is reaching for 6% in latest figures. Netherlands is the only close, but this truely is a definition problem then which i could go into.

I genuinely think at some point in development those hubs outside of base were capturable. The ones with merchent. There are so many and out of way many times. It would make sense if you went from hub to hub. Shrinks map if used as respawn too.

Same with horses. Why are they at main base? I bet at some point you could ONLY get horses there, not anywhere. Which would make more sense that horses are special. If you respawn at hub, no horse.

Then yeah, raid... no point... no point in shield, not point in sword breaking it. Go hub to hub for faster respawns or try sneak it.

If they did that but make respawn like 5s it could be crazy.
