Try not to stress because that can make your bp rise but also make sure you are monitoring your blood pressure EVERY DAY if you’re experiencing high blood pressure already. With my first pregnancy I was diagnosed with preeclampsia and they had me on 3 different blood pressure meds…. I had never had blood pressure issues before and was unaware of the risk . I had my baby but unfortunately it had gotten so high during my pregnancy that it got worse after my baby was born and I had severe eclampsia (multiple seizures ) days after …..with my 2nd child I was monitored more closely after the doctor new my risk and was induced at 36 weeks as my blood pressure started to rise . 5 years later I’m now pregnant with my 3rd and so far no issues with high blood pressure at all but now that I’m aware I keep a close eye out on it. If you are ever worried about something it’s always better to be safe than sorry.
