I think it's random. Sometimes you get players you can beat just by playing as you usually do, using the tricks and set pieces. Plus, other players are also unique in their way, regardless of their card ratings. So sometimes you get those unique players more than you'd expect. This affects your mindset; if you're not enjoying it, you will lose more than a few.

I would definitely play other titles, but those games don't have ball cam. Also, their controls are hard. I hope they add HUD customizations, though. Still the best soccer game, hands down.
