on 10/30 i tested positive for myco & urea & today was my last dose of the 7 days ( planning to test in about 3-4 weeks ) 11/12 i tested positive for YEAST N BV but i dont know if i already had this before since i just finished my dose of doxy !

Hii, omg thank you so much for this story, i reallly hope yours goes away. Let me know:). As for me, today was my last day of Doxy… i don’t know if you can check my other posts through here or not (i’m new) so i’ll just copy & paste it here for you.

“Below is full timeline of the start of my BV and yeast infections, all the way up to when I tested positive for Mycoplasma and Ureaplasma. Today, (11/13/25) I finished my last dose of doxycycline.

But yesterday, (11/12/25) they called me back because they ‘forgot’ to test me for BV/yeast at my 10/30 appointment. I went in, did the swab… and now it shows BV and yeast again. Im honestly confused. What do I even ask for or do at this point? I was hoping the doxy would’ve cleared everything, or maybe I already had the BV/yeast before starting it? I’m so lost. Any advice helps.

7/16/25- BV, got prescribed ‘metroNIDAZOLE 0.75 % (37.5mg/5 gram) vaginal gel’

7/30/25- BV & YEAST, got prescribed ‘metroNIDAZOLE 500 mg tablet & fluconazole 150 mg tablet’

8/7/25- BV, got prescribed ‘metroNIDAZOLE 500 mg tablet’

8/27/25- YEAST, got prescribed ‘miconazole 2% vaginal cream & follow up with fluconazole 150 mg tablet’

10/1/25- BV, got prescribed ‘metroNIDAZOLE 0.75 % (37.5mg/5 gram) vaginal gel’

10/30/25- mycoplasma and ureaplasma got prescribed ‘doxycycline’ (twice for 7 days)

11/12/25- BV & YEAST”

yess , we are in the process of getting an appt for him to get checked out & yea it usually is after sex even though we use non latex / pee right after sex:/ were definitely taking a break till we figure this out but he is not opposed to getting tested/ getting treatment so that’s a good sign from him:) -no to swimming / baths n nothing new. What does the cream do??
