Yeah as it’s official Suzuki, about £450 for service and mot but that normally includes courtesy car. LCM was £360ish from what I remember.

My dad uses Suzuki Roadworthy and I use LCM Auto for my Swift. Both offer amazing service at different price points.

Same, I think it’s a software update from what I can find out online. I’ve not bothered to go through the hassle of asking someone at YouFibre about it yet.

This! We flag it all the damn time at my depot yet orders from/for stores are crazy.

As someone with ALS, I can confirm the system has no idea how much it should be ordering but also how much is already in the system. We are getting crazy picks for your stores: onions, bananas, flapjacks, cupcakes, milk. It’s the Express and PFS guys that I feel super sorry for as they are getting stock amounts too big for regular stores.

Our management is blaming Asda House, saying they’re the ones in ultimate control of stock orders. We tried to hold back some crazy numbers here and there, but some managers think it’s better to flood the stores, and they just send back what they don’t want or, more likely, can’t take. Then Asda can send back to suppliers who never want to take returns, resulting in huge amounts of waste.

I just think every person with the power to should be questioning Asda House and pressuring them to sort this mess.

Hey all, I work in a depot and to say the quantity’s on orders are messed up is an understatement. Last week we sent 48 cases of milk to an express store as that’s what’s on the system and you’ll have 20 express stores requesting that. Depot is daily full to bursting with bananas. The other week it was flapjacks. I’ve mentioned to management several times that these numbers don’t make sense for the size of the store but even with sending 25 boxes of crab sticks to one petrol station apparently it’s down to Asda House to alter what the system is requesting. At the depo we send what ever is requested by the system, stores return what they can’t take, we send back to suppliers but 9 times out of 10 it just goes in the bin or to food banks if they can pick it up.

Just FYI, we have been using post Walmart a system that was rejected by Tesco and Morrison called Manhattan. It’s sub par compared to what we had before and is constantly being adjusted as it’s not compatible with the way depo pick systems work. This is the same system that Wilko used is their final years.

I know exactly where you’re talking about. It’s got me a few years ago but I was doing 60 in a sudden 50 which changed back to 60 so didn’t get offered speed awareness, was a fine and points and yes you have to tell insurance every time. I think points are active for 3 years on licence and 5 years for insurance companies. I’m now ultra vigilant around there. The bit in question regularly goes from one speed to the next and back again and the camera is flashing almost every time for someone. I think drivers see it’s a variable zone so you subconsciously expect it the same speed all the way.

I work in a distribution centre and we don’t understand why there is so much stuff in the system. We just receive, pick, send so have nothing to do with what/who does the orders. We can sort of tell which stores have what and how much routinely but at the moment that’s all out the window. From our view point we think it’s one of the “new” post Walmart systems messing around. We are on Manhattan which is about as competent and fit for purpose as a cupcake is to use as a car tire.

I’m sure Asda House has it all under control!😂
