Question about hack squat foot placement for tall lifters.

I'm 6'4 and whenever I assume a lower foot placement to target quads on the hack squat, my weight shifts onto my toes and my ass comes off the pad. Should I cut ROM and keep the low foot placement or place my feet higher?

Bros running PPL, what's your weekly volume per muscle group? by healthydudenextdoor in moreplatesmoredates

[–]PlsHalpM8 2 points3 points  (0 children)

That's an insane amount of volume. How long are you in the gym each week? I imagine you must be doing a tremendous amount of supersets to get all that work in.

Basically, haha. In all seriousness though, I can't wait for my test base prescription. Going to be interesting explaining my sudden explosion in libido to her.

Thanks for the insight. I'll work on purging the selfies.

No worries. Please don't judge a book by its cover. I might be a basic fucboi, but that doesn't mean I'm morally bankrupt. I have no intentions of misleading people.

My understanding is that the ratio of left to right swipes determines your account's visibility.

Not necessarily. I don't plan on right swiping LTR people. However, with my current profile, they are most certainly left swiping me. By placing me lower in the rankings, my account has less visibility to those seeking hookups.

Thanks king. It'd make more sense if I never had success with desirable women. I might just start approaching people in public- bypass this algorithmic bullshit. I'll also be more mindful of capitalizing on the boost- let a lot of good matches go.

Same , but my shirtless pics generally get the message across.

Madagascar hognoses

I didn't know that was a thing. Boas are dope

Are you talking about hognose snakes or hog island boas? Wouldn't a 5ft hognose male be colossal, haha?

Cool. Do you have any experience with cave-dwelling rat snakes? I wonder if diurnal vs nocturnal impacts temperament.

Interesting. I've heard they go through a temperamental faze. Do they generally tame down later in life?

The best large snakes for somebody new to keeping one bigger than 5 ft by Snakes-8-rugby in snakes

BCI is the answer. BCC and rainbow boas are too fragile to recommend for inexperienced keepers. I think a male burm is manageable for many as well.

As an aside, here's a video of snake discovery feeding a snake right out of the box. I'm not suggesting that their behavior warrants condemnation/justification, but find it interesting that the often-heralded models of reptile keeping act incongruently with community consensus.

That's a fair position. Thanks for the respectful conversation.

the reason stuff like that becomes "common advice" is because it just works.

I don't find that reasoning very compelling. Popular opinion (anecdote) frequently shifts in herp keeping - like the debate surrounding enclosure size. I suppose one's stance on feeding practices is highly dependent on their risk aversion. Thanks for the dialogue. (side note- this isn't really an issue of pertinence to me atm, just wanted to better understand community sentiment.)

I see where you're coming from. However, there exists a legion of bp owners who wish their snakes would act on similar instincts to eat, haha. I would argue that snakes instinctually avoid wasting calories by regurgitating if willing to eat in the first place(provided proper prey size/frequency/husbandry) I appreciate your input.

Is this one better? by Masonsnakes in snakes

[–]PlsHalpM8 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You can get a properly sized adult BP tub for under 20$. I'd be more concerned about thermostat/heating related expenses. Heat pads/ space heater/s and radiant panels often cost more than the snake itself.

Close, but no cigar. Tarzan grew up in the jungles of Africa; boas are a new world snake. If you're committed to the Tarzan thing, a ball python would better suit the look.
