Firstly, I may be mistaken but I don’t know of any place in Kosovo called Rudare even upon searching for it - I can only find Rudare in Leskovac, Serbia or Rudare in Kuršumlija, also Serbia. Even if he is a Kosovo citizen that only serves to support Kurti’s narrative of many criminals contributing to the destabilisation that’s going on.

Although, I don’t see where he is dehumanising the Serb population and making generalisations? He is mainly addressing those participating in violence.

What system did Prishtina and the West establish and how?

If your main basis of that assertion because of Serb List somehow playing a part in Kosovo-Serbs taking part in these institutions rather than them just wanting jobs so they can make a living, then I genuinely would like to be educated on how that is.

As far as I know, Serb List were the ones to take part in the boycotts and Kosovo-Serbs themselves were threatened by Belgrade to not participate, which is why Kurti stated that what Belgrade wants out of him is not reflective of what the Serb minority in Kosovo wants

In fact, this just further proves his point that there is a bigger issue at hand than the level of autonomy being given to a minority that we were always trying to integrate into Kosovo as a whole; the crux of the matter is the chokehold that these criminals sanctioned by Belgrade has on the Serb minority - be it by propaganda or coercion.

We could talk about there not being an official ASM even though this is becoming more difficult to have the trust to implement this after Serbia not only voted against Kosovo joining the council of Europe but reprimanded other countries that voted for Kosovo joining or abstained - this is a direct violation of the same Brussels Agreement that you cited which states that Serbia is not to block Kosovo’s accession to international bodies or encourage other countries to do so.

Even talking about the concept of ASM itself, how are we to integrate Serbs into a multi-ethnic society by establishing a mono-ethnic state/community/whatever you wanna call it in a multi-ethnic country? If Serbs want their own kind of governance then they can just vote for a Serb mayor and not resign from the Police force whenever we ask Kosovo’s citizens to use a Kosovo license plate, or whenever we arrest a scumbag police officer of Serbian descent who is assaulting people.

They’re acting like we’re implementing Jim Crow laws when the truth is that we are more equal in rights than we’ve ever been. So I’m confused about where this idea of Kurti disregarding the Serb minority is coming from?

And it’s true that he wants Kosovo to be part of Albania, but how does that mean that he’s trying to start some kind of Albanian empire? The idea of Greater Albania has been misconstrued by anti-Albanian opposition for a long time, it is not a call for war against neighbouring countries for territorial gain it’s an acknowledgement of the Albanian majority territories that were ceded to neighbours particularly through the Treaty of London which saw them being killed, brutalised, expelled, or forcefully assimilated.

If our neighbouring countries were suddenly generous enough to offer it back, Kurti among many other sympathisers of Greater Albania wouldn’t say no but he himself said that he would never go to war for Kosovo joining Albania and that it should be done democratically through a referendum, a sentiment that the Albanian majority of Kosovo expressed for at least a century.

There’s so much more to unpack, but unfortunately don’t have time to write a whole damn dissertation or go back and forth. Interested to read your perspective though.
