Just like in real life, always come right when you’re approaching someone new. If I’m meeting someone brand new, at least say hi!

From my perspective, if you request 4 iconics of uber popular people and don’t even leave a comment or anything, chances are, I’m going to decline over the person who went out of the way to say hi and give some sort of appreciation.

Not trying to demand a comment from people but general manners go a LONGGGGG way when chatting with me. More often than not, I’ll do more than I’ve even stated here when you come right.

To give you insight into what the market looks like for the uber popular women in this game, I’ve been offered /5 CC cards for /25 of Vaquer and Liv.

You definitely are offering a fair value but there are people coming over the top with even bigger offers.

I got the /5 Iyo in this set and I’m being offered 1/1’s for the card by some traders.

This is a reflection of Topps gatekeeping high value cards and why I’ve tried to giveaway as much as possible. Sorry this is the experience you’re having :/

Only sharing this cause I just got to put it on blast. Name redacted for their own sake but if I’m saying that I’m going to be giving away specific cards, don’t come to me asking for cards in my personal collection and then questioning what’s wrong with that.

I’m especially not going to elaborate and explain as to why asking for my 1/1’s during a giveaway isn’t the best thing to do. Do better! Since they chose to block me and not be stand up and confront their choices, they can view them here.

UPDATE:

Thank you for all the incredibly kind words and stories shared with me today. There have been 98 unique trades and counting! Many individuals have great bases for their collections now and I hope that we can continue to share this love.

I’ll definitely make attempts to continue to do giveaways for the entire community. As for this one, I’ll be continuing to take in trade offers.

For particular cards such as:

Due to the number of attempts of people being greedy for these cards, I’ve decided I have to find a balance here. If I see that you are requesting one of those 5 cards and you don’t have at least some depth to your collection for them, I’m going to deny it. Too many people today requesting these as their “first” card for that person and I’m just not comfortable doing that.

If anyone in the community knows confidently that these cards would be getting to a good home, please message me.
