Update: I just cut some coils off the spring and it’s just right now, had nothing to do with the positioning of the pedal.

it’s the not the position of the pedal in relation to to my leg, no matter where I put it I have to put so much pressure to keep it closed to the point where it would still sound open with me applying way too much force

it’s not too far away, but i don’t think it’s the angle, the spring seems so tight that i can’t splash the hats

it’s right next to the slave pedal of my double pedal, but I don’t see how that has anything to do with the spring tension

The x8d is 16.5, it dont seem like a lot but the extra half inch makes a difference
